Goldman Sachs Asset Management analysts will have gone through this company with a fine toothed comb before they increased their holding

No tears from me Johnwise :-)

I wish Premier (and shareholders) all the very best. I made a solid five figure gain here in 2017 / 2018 and still track the share very closely.

Just pointing out that from production alone on record production and an average of $67 / barrel in 2018 it still wasn't enough to reduce their debt pile at all.

There will be interest savings in 2019 of probably $50m but with no CB conversion to rely on I guess theres two ways to balance their books in 2019.

1) Asset disposals

2) Asset purchases by issuing new equity

Maybe PMO might offload Zama ?

Maybe PMO might just buy those Chevron assets ?

Maybe PMO should do both :-)

AI, look at the CFS and associated note (11), all the answers of how net debt has been reduced are there for all to see.

Chunky capex in H1 of 2018 is maybe what you are forgetting about. Looks like a similar picture for 2019, 300m capex but expected further net debt reduction of c250-350m in 2019 outlook section.

stan.. adg's been around much longer than Marge..

I was gonna make the same point that TD didn't rubbish the ST report.. so he was partly responsible.

but it was interesting to note that no mention was made in todays report..

No surprises and confirms my bullish view . Still long still same 70p average . Am happy to see this re rate as indeed I have called Pmo to take the 200 moving average back much like many peers in sector have already . Am long the sector . I feel breakeven prices have lowered for some companies as they have had to become leaner and reduce capex too .

This is new:

"Subsequent to the year-end, in January 2019, a further US$100.3 million of the Group's RCF debt facility was cancelled by Premier, which will result in reduced commitment fee costs for the Group in 2019."

Pathetic opening price. Price manipulation.

It should be a requirement that market maker's/ shareholder nominees providing shares on loan services should be required to get shareholder consent from those who beneficially own the shares and this should be published information so the identity is clear of those the financial institutions and pension funds allowing such practices. I am sure pensioners would not be best pleased to hear their pension funds are contributing to shorting practices.

Why is debt still at 2.3b. I would have expected it to have reduced a bit more? Reduction of debt seems to be the concern here

Strip out one off asset sales and the proceeds from the CBs and debt has hardly reduced through operational performance despite higher oil prices in 2018 ?

I havent time right now to do the calculations but will do later in the day.

Hope you all get a nice blue day today :-)
