14/2/2019 13:15 | Look, guys, I am not politically motivated and I am a serious investor I also rarely post, I start because of the post below this clever bigot seems to think he has superior knowledge over what he calls deluded idiots who are scum (why does he feel that way about the British people I wonder?) that do not agree with his ideas, the remainder's cannot get over the fact they got it wrong time will tell. They seem to believe the EU is our friend, not a future fascist regime that's been at work since 1955 after GREAT BRITAIN help restore their freedom and went bankrupt in the prosses we've paid all we need to pay to them. I shall say no more I look to read PMO posts. I wish all our Country the very best in the future. stansmith312 Feb '19 - 17:47 - 43542 of 43633 brexiters deluded idiots who think britain can negotiate better trade deals than a block with 300m people meanwhile back in the real world, countries holding the now free britain over a barrel brexiters are the scum here | lexus880

14/2/2019 11:07 | It is fun I agree, I have decided I am retiring next April (52), rental properties and pensions (@ 55 & 60) and blue chip income shares will look after the basics. However... if the investments in my 'fun' portfolio come good then retirement will be luxury rather than comfortable... I find it fun and interesting, something to keep the grey matter on its toes... | adg

14/2/2019 08:44 | I think Onedb1 has his resistance level pretty much bang on...price has been jittery several times around 75p and on a daily chart I can draw a pretty much a perfect support/resistance line at 76 Also the minute we went over that point this morning, the algos kicked in and started dumping their small orders all over the book - you would think Brent had dropped a dollar rather than being strong. However as long as Brent gets up to the $65 level around which PMO seem to have based their long term forecasts, I think we will be more than fine | nav_mike
14/2/2019 08:35 | lager.. Overall we're only about 65% oil. Rest is gas (so its price may not respond accordingly). Also around 1/3 of our production is already hedged (although higher price will allow for a higher future hedging). So 80koepd is c. 52kopd, or 34kopd unhedged... i.e. just $170k per day, or $60-65 million off of our debt... for every $5 /bbl increase. Still nice to have though. | steve73
14/2/2019 08:31 | Some pretty hefty bets being made here on both sides of the book. On balance it feels better to stick with it. I have added this a.m. but not wholly confident I had got the best price of the day at circa 75.5 but fairly confident I will not regret it on a longer time frame. Too volatile to trade IMO. | marvelman
14/2/2019 08:29 | Need the closing day candle to stay above and I think this then has legs to move further . Brent was showing an inverse H&S , quants might hate these but that broke too . If target is in low $70s or thereabouts it will push the ytd Brent average nicely and add more Free cash flow . Happy days Personally think this is bullish . 90-100p in sight if am right . Bigger target insight for me though Major indices looking good too . | onedb1
14/2/2019 08:28 | If a $5 increase in POO is translated into a $5 increase in price realised by PMO, then that increases cash flow by $400,000+ per day or somewhere between $120m and $150m per year, which is essentially pre tax profit for the most part as costs don't increase. As much of that is being driven by Catcher, and UK production counts towards the huge tax credit, it essentially goes straight on the bottom line. | lageraemia
14/2/2019 08:23 | What difference does a 5 dollar rise in the oil price make to pmo each year around . | wskill |
