stan... I like my conclusions and speculation to be challenged.. I don't want a bunch of sycophants agreeing with everything I post.

I can't do anything about what people choose to post. I can't moderate this thread. All I can do is point out the obvious idiots (which isn't difficult) and possibly the disingenuous.

Good call onedb1.

Some good space ahead if PMO can deliver it given improving sentiment & markets.

steveit is logic like that, that makes me doubt your other conclusions and speculationwhy cant you just take it at face value?someone posts an aggressive brexit remark - out of the blue for no reason, usually wbecki, which kicks off four r five people (including me) who can't help rising to the bait or just want to counter ityou are probably the only person that could stop it

We just arent interested - get it?
Who the hell are you anyway? Why are you here? What’s your motive? Why don’t you go and irritate and bore people on a brexit bb? Why the PMO bb?
Why don’t you just go fekk off ?
Please
Steve I never thought of that but it’s feasible!

Whilst I'm somewhat interested in the off-topic chatter about Brexit (& it's always good to keep tabs (no pun) on which posters sit on which side of the fence), I can't but help think that much of this idle chit-chat is intended to keep the silent majority (i.e. those interested in PMO, but say little) bored, and away from the board (pun intended).

Possibly so that when the Zama (or any other) news lands, those who are more on the ball will perhaps be able to benefit from any early trading moves.

I'm sure this suggestion will be met with ridicule from the usual suspects, but I would add, for the benefit of the LTH's, Illegitimi non carborundum.

The main risk to a sustain recovery here (apart from Catcher sinking of course) is a significantly reduced oil price for an extended period. All other thing remaining equal, the current OP would allow for steady repayment of debt (IMO) which is one of the main business objectives at the present time, although a more detailed study of the full year results and annual report for 2018 will hopefully confirm this, when they are released (usually March/April).

So not too long to wait, especially with Brexit deliberations keeping everyone on their toes.

You and your family have my admiration together with all in the NHS and first responders, armed forces and anyone else who helps protect us from whatever may happen. But you really don't need to use foul language. I have worked since 15 never had any help from the state never expected help. I am now near 71 very happily married to my wife of 50 years this year. whatever the future holds I still feel we shall be okay without the eurorats, and they felling is spreading across euroland, only time will tell. I wish all well.

To all our fellow Country persons whether leaving or remain whatever the future holds we are still one Country one Nation under one God

From the legendary Spike Milligan

Smiling is infectious
You catch it like the flu

When someone smiled at me today
I started smiling too

I walked around the corner
And someone saw me grin

When he smiled I realised
I had passed it on to him

I thought about the smile
And then realised its worth

A single smile like mine
Could travel around the world

So if you feel a smile begin
Don't leave it undetected

Start an epidemic
And get the world infected

tab27,

I think that those early Dec highs that show rejection in Brent ( candle with long over head wicks ) that is Brent's resistance , so 63.5 to 63.75 area.(bit higher than $63 i said earlier) If that breaks and PMO breaks the resistance area I highlighted at 76.15 ish then 76.15 should be taken out. Hopefully no more rejection.

In my book the fast moving averages ie sub 50MA / 50EMA and the fast crossovers are telling me that the short term outlook is strengthening.
A classic 8/34EMA is not there quite yet but often works ok for this kind of stock Short or Long . There is better but that is a good starting point.
For those who follow ATR or Bollinger bands the squeeze in vol is obvious ( tight range for a while now, so that makes me expect a move soon. I think buy low vol here must have been a good strategy with the right overlays but have no backtest on this.
All the best

Just about back to 50% of the 52 week high. The Sunday Times 'scoop' on a possible rights issue has sure worked wonders for the short positions in PMO.
