14/11/2018 15:55 | That's an interesting Zero Hedge article Mike - its a probably not a million miles off the truth! | lageraemia
14/11/2018 15:39 | Historically if you work out the worse case scenario for edging gas or Oil; then jabba is your man. He does not have a didgery do. Common people, if you cant see this as blatant share price manipulation then you should not be investing. | chopyead
14/11/2018 15:26 | From the Half yearly results: "In the UK, Premier achieved average natural gas prices of 49 pence/therm (2017 1H: 46 pence/therm), which included 39.4 million therms which were sold under fixed price master sales agreements" As you can see from this link: Q1 2019 futures are currently averaging 72.3p. I suspect UK output is also higher now with Catcher at plateau and exporting. | lageraemia
14/11/2018 15:22 | Zero Hedge lean a bit toward the conspiracy theory, but this is an interesting possibility that would fit with the crazy moves in oil and gas | nav_mike
14/11/2018 15:17 | Crazy how the shorter are still trying to smash this down.Oil up $2 since this morning PMO still down 2p | fitton
14/11/2018 14:44 | you mean the decade, not the share price i hope!! | eentweedrie
14/11/2018 14:09 | We have some N.Sea gas too. | jelenko
14/11/2018 13:54 | PMO apparently hasn't gained much by the increased gas price (see post 40038) as most is produced in SE Asia and price varies wrt the oil price. | fireplace22
14/11/2018 13:38 | trend seems to have turned - blue finish? | eentweedrie
14/11/2018 11:50 | Down we go again. So predictable. | investordave
14/11/2018 11:23 | Check the hell out of GAS! Gas is up 30% this month and spiked again today. Tolmount to come and Catcher Gas export up and running. I'll be very interested in the gas section of tomorrow's update. | lageraemia
14/11/2018 10:30 | Shale has kept a lid on POO.... co's need to find a way to make a decent profit with Oil between $55-70. If oil goes above $70-75+, US production will just keep rising | deanroberthunt
14/11/2018 10:18 | SA needs $88 bbl to balance its 2018 budget or else the cash comes from reserves which were hit very hard during the price crash. Although still not short of a few bob. | fireplace22
14/11/2018 10:18 | this uncertainty won't help SL funding | deanroberthunt
14/11/2018 10:16 | It would be good to see some director buying after the update tomorrow, that's one thing I think has been missing in the past on this share is the lack of this. | privileged
14/11/2018 10:11 | From a charts perspective, where does PMO need to get to before we can say is out of this downward spiral? (I know that the market isn't making sense right now, but for the sake of knowing what it should be doing...) | kaisharp
14/11/2018 09:49 | It is reversing on news of 1.4m supply cut being proposed . To me this fall is way over cooked | onedb1
14/11/2018 09:49 | Brent on the rise! We may have bottomed. By the way what will happen if we find tomorrow that the company has been busy over the last few months hedging its 2019 output! By the way dean ENQ is now 24.25p. 10% in less than an hour is not bad. My spread bet is looking good! | legg96
14/11/2018 09:30 | marmar80 - Not sure it is a time to buy - it might be a time to sell. The Americans have got the Saudi's by the balls and are talking about sanctions over the killing in Turkey. Trump is softer than we thought on Iran and seems to think keeping the price of oil down is more important. OPEC, the Russians and the Americans are all producing at record rates. It's hard to find an upside. Like dean said somewhere, lets hope they have fixed those hedges at decent prices. I'll wait for tomorrow to see what they come up with, but at the moment I think I'll be selling while there's still some profit on the table. | hoper2
14/11/2018 09:08 | To the average person, it is just like betting on the horses, because the real money people can manipulate the prices to suit themselves, and if we are lucky we pick a winner. | alfiex |
