02/2/2018 11:10 | The price today is not important, fear is born out of fatigue & loneliness, next week will better, the catcher wave will be powerful, a good trader must stay strong & focused, the only truth is the market & in yourself. | mercer95
02/2/2018 11:04 | Interesting analysis on Brent today from IG. Brent rally comes under pressure Brent has been rebounding following the drop into $68.03 earlier in the week. The ability to break through $70.85 will be key to determining whether that failure to maintain higher lows is a bearish signal or not. Until that happens, there is a chance we are creating a head and shoulders formation, where $70.11 represents the peak of the left shoulder. .......... Ignore it at your peril ! In my opinion, the current short-term downtrend isn't over just yet. | american idiot

02/2/2018 07:50 | PMO can only control what they can control. The rise and fall of currencies and the price of oil is beyond their remit though they can mitigate using hedging but even that can have negative consequences if judged incorrectly Natural resource companies are exposed to factors they have no control over. It is the cyclical nature of natural resource investing | gersemi
01/2/2018 21:27 | jelenko - No. Stronger pound does not impact positively on debt because you lose the gain on opex margins. For example, if production of a barrel of oil costs us £15 in the UK, at $1.22 that equates to $18.3/bbl while at $1.42 it equates to $21.3/bbl. Similarly, the £150mn term loan debt that we have was equivalent to $183mn at $1.22, while at todays rate of $1.42, its $213mn. Strength in the currency where most of the production i.e. opex is focussed is never good. A weaker pound is always good because you spend less $ to produce the same barrel of oil. | rationaleee
01/2/2018 21:25 | Good point jelenko, WTI gonna closing up around $66 tonight, Venezuela is a mess, their oil production is in disarray, all helping the oil price, every one saying the global economies are in a sweet spot, I’m gonna add here for sure before 8 March Yearly report. | mercer95
01/2/2018 21:13 | Rationaleee, don't forget the stronger pound has a good impact on our $debt | jelenko

01/2/2018 14:21 | I see a big chunk of the warrants got exercised last month as well... the bulk of them for shares rather than cashlessly. In total now 24% of the warrants have now been converted. 97MM potential new shares from the warrants & CB's remaining if they all convert to shares. | steve73
