Just wondering if PMO are keeping the wytch Farm cash to buy the MOL 20% stake in Catcher? would make sense now...

Whatever you might say about the trading update it certainly summarises what a transformative year 2017 was for the company.Just need poo to remain steamy and it should be onwards and upwards.

Crazy really, short term sellers are selling out of a company that has managed to reduce debt by $100m since November, have now increase guidence to 80-85k bopd and will, as production increases at Catcher probably increase guidence in the second half to 95-100k.All the uncertainty over the last 2 years has been removed as well as major financial commitments.Market cap of £500m is to low for a company that has done almost everything right in the last 2 years and has some world class assets that are now appreciating in value.

Very happy with TU and recent progress by the company. Debt will start to fall significantly soon. Lots were talking this down only a few weeks ago when it was 60P but this is what happens, as real investors buy in while PIs talk and don't buy. PMO was and is a serious mid cap oiler with big assets-Zama and Sea Lion share alone are worth way more than total mrkt cap and debt combined-and there will be a big rerate as it makes good inroads into debt, starting now with equity gaining. imo

I would say the results are exactly what the city was expecting. The shares have risen from 70p to 98p.Short term panic sell off but I am expecting a rise to over £1 in the not too distant future. The company is now starting to repay debt so that should translate into a share price and market cap rise

Mind you the share price did need a pull back as that straight line up was unnerving.

The huge damage was the debt

If TD hasn't paid off the Wytch farm proceeds, and you can't really tell with his doublespeak, he ought to have explicitly highlighted that.

This big fall is completely down to that debt position and negative tone of future guidance on production.

Done deliberately to shake out some PI's to accommodate Hedgies etc?

What does puzzle me is why the mega increase in the share price?

Very weird when such historical predictable below par news is always announced?

Not all bad and would say around a 6 out of 10
