with all the buying looks like we might hit .11 this afternoon! have to credit Faud's posting last night on the LSE board with this uptick.

Interesting to see that folks are saying the courts will only hear the rha liquidation in jan...maybe gr can do a webinar this week and tell everyone that once again he was wrong when he told the market that the liquidation process would happen if the govt was dragging its feet.

Napom says it's a good thing that the share price is dropping. he must be thrilled by the share price performance this year. I'm sure if it drops another 30% in the next two weeks he'll be popping champagne!!

Are you sure CF isn't in some way tied into the Company?

Mol - you should tell CF that GR met with the Minister of Industry last week. I'm sure CF knows this (he talks with the company all the time) but it might be good to point that out to him so he doesn't say things like "but it is hard to know who those meetings have been with..." since we know who the meetings have been with and we know they have amounted to nothing.

Val - couldn't agree more. On the bright side of life if this Newco ever does come to fruition I think I'll put forward a resolution to change it's name to Scamco.

Mol - the lack of value creation is truly shocking. but the thing is that GR doesn't care. this is a purely lifestyle company. between his salary, expenses and consulting fees it was a nice little earner for him and the family. but I do wonder if he's starting to worry a little now. like I said, a raise at .05 only covers a few months. so it will pay his 2018 salary but what about 2019. GR needs those cheques coming! so he's trying with this Newco nonsense, but who at this point would put in a penny into a GR company?...

Val - did you see my food for thought post on LSE? $25M raised to increase market cap by £1M odd. Honestly think Dianne Abbot went to the same economics school as GR.

Mol - I lost track of how much sharecap room we have left but I think it's somewhere in the 1.5 billion range following the last raise in August. That means at .05 it's 750k. barely enough to fund prem for a few months. and then he's maxed out. that's why he is trying to manufacture a spike/drum up interest. re KME, deal is 'sketchy' at best. any normal company would just hire/contract the drillers. and yet GR is trying to buy them with paper. I have a few ideas as to why...none of them are in the interests of existing shareholders...

Val - if he thought he could get a placing away at 0.05-0.07 he'd do it, I still say next news will be no decision and suspension.
ps did anybody ever uncover who KME were?

also the fact that a certain poster reappears with news of 'meetings, progress' means that the placing is super close. GR needs to manufacture some interest/spike for the raise. so he's using his spokespeople. if he did a straight up raise today it would have to be in the .05-.07 range. that puts a serious dent in the sharecap and barely covers GR's salary so he needs +0.1. get ready for a podcast soon!

The LSE board is mentioning that GR is meeting the Minister of Industry on Dec 18. I hope that meeting is more productive than the last time GR met with him (which was last week!). seems the only thing they accomplished during that meeting was to schedule another one. ha! on the 19th, GR will tell us they have another meeting scheduled for early 2019...

MC Mining Limited Chapudi Project - Mining Right GrantedSource: UK Regulatory (RNS & others)TIDMMCMRNS Number : 0297KMC Mining Limited11 December 2018ANNOUNCEMENT 11 December 2018CHAPUDI PROJECT - MINING RIGHT GRANTEDMC Mining Limited ("MC Mining" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the South African Department of Mineral Resources ("DMR") has granted a mining right for its 74% owned Chapudi coking and thermal coal project ("Chapudi Project") in the Limpopo province. The Chapudi Project, together with the Mopane and Generaal Projects, comprise the Company's longer-term Greater Soutpansberg Project ("GSP") situated in the Soutpansberg Coalfield. The GSP is located within close proximity to the Musina-Makhado Special Economic Zone ("SEZ"), an area designated by government to focus on amongst others, energy and metallurgical processing. The Chapudi mining right is the first of the three GSP mining right applications to be granted; these applications were submitted to the DMR during 2013. The Chapudi Project alone contains over 6.3 billion gross tonnes in situ of inferred coal resources(1) and supports MC Mining's strategy to be a substantial producer of hard coking coal, used in the steel manufacturing process and typically attracting a significantly higher sales price compared to thermal coal.David Brown, MC Mining's Chief Executive Officer commented:"The granting of the mining right for the Chapudi Project is a key step in unlocking value from MC Mining's significant coking and thermal coal assets and positions the GSP to be a potential long-term coal supplier to the planned Musina-Makhado SEZ. The Mopane and Generaal Project mining right applications are at an advanced stage and we anticipate that these will be granted in the near future. Following this, the Company will commence with the various studies required for the outstanding water and environmental regulatory approvals. We continue to advance our flagship Makhado hard coking and thermal coal project and the November 2018 agreement to acquire the Lukin and Salaita properties facilitates the completion of geotechnical and related infrastructure studies for the proposed colliery. Further, recent Makhado Project milestones include the conclusion of a hard coking coal off-take agreement while negotiations for the remaining hard coking coal as well as the thermal coal and funding initiatives are progressing and updates will be provided when appropriate."
