Circum Minerals in final stage of advancing Danakil to production
November 6 2018

Circum Minerals is working through the last stage necessary – fund raising – to move its 100% owned Ethiopia-based Danakil project into construction.

And while the plan to build the operation will occur in four phases, the final operation will be a significantly sized operation – substantially larger than any of its African-focused potash peers.

This article first appeared in Mining Review Africa Issue 10, 2018

Situated in Ethiopia’s Afar region, Circum Minerals has been quietly advancing its project. With a mining licence in hand (awarded in April 2017), it has spent the last year optimising its definitive feasibility study which has seen it increase its potash production targets.

The original plan entailed producing 2 Mtpa of MOP (muriate of potash, KCl) and 750 000 tpa of SOP (sulphate of potash, K2SO4) explains COO, Duncan Bowker.

On the back of its optimised study, completed by African engineering expert SENET, the company is now looking to produce an additional 750 000 tpa, delivering 3.5 Mtpa potash in total.

These production volumes are significant and Circum Minerals is considering a phased approach to the project’s construction in order to de-risk implementation and reduce capital requirements.

“Our focus at present is to secure the necessary funding to move into construction, with the objective to raise the capital through a combination of debt and equity.

“With the money secured we will start construction in 2019 – which entails a two-year build period followed by a two-year ramp up to full production. According to this schedule, we will produce our first SOP towards the end of 2021,” Bowker outlines.

The remaining phases will subsequently be constructed and funded out of cash flow.

well it looks like all the air out of this company has been let out. no one even attempted the 'you don't want to be out of this over the weekend' trade this week. even with GR saying that the company is looking to meet with the minister on monday. apparently if you miss every single deadline you give, the market stops caring after a while. and by sounds of it, the minister doesn't care either. honestly, how much longer can GR continue saying 'this can't continue'. why hasn't he started the legal proceedings. at this rate, we won't complete the DD...

George now owns at today's valuation close on £1M. 8.4% Interestingly I mentioned his health some time ago maybe be not great so perhaps he is tidying his affairs? Time will tell.A new chapter in the Prem story about to get underway.I reckon we have plateaus now.I do feel £11M is a lie valuation for Prem.No point in selling now

at least there isn't a massive sell-off this time around:). and looks like the next big piece of news to land is the date of GR's trip to london. ha. that's some serious catalysts for price increases...;)

so what exactly is prem doing at the moment? ah nothing. we are going on 11 months of nothing this year. and now that it's rainy season we can look forward to another 5 months of nothing. well GR can keep us updated on discussions re the IPO. ha! he should just call the new company 'Dilution and Discussions' since that's the only thing he does.

anyway, only question I would like asked on the webinar is: how is this NEWCo stuff different than PREM trying to raise the money now and buying KME? Let's see if GR can honestly answer that cause the only difference I see is that he is trying to fool new investors to fund his lifestyle. oh, also, how does he plan to realistically raise the 6 million since no one wants what we have at the moment. well, that's two questions...:)

And good to see that folks are challenging this ‘free shares in newco’ stuff. But most importantly folks are asking about the 6 mill since we all know it will be new PIs fronting that. So more dilution! Oh no news on rha. I thought the 48 hours ended last week....

So GR lent himself money (from his trust) to pay his salary and now is diluting shareholders to pay himself back. You honestly can’t make this up.
Everyone and I mean everyone should start an aim company. Since there’s no governance you can fleeece investors at will.

GR doesnt make any decisions as they are made for him.He just says what he is told to say and takes the flak..Thats how it works. Look at the guy BA fronting KOD! He is as mad as a cut snake..Charlie wood puppet for TSI(soon to be multi bagger) just puts his name to documents and does nothing else
