From little acorns.
Something is happening.
Up or down?
My guess is stuck rigid at £58.90.
There's something to be said for the person who is resolute in conviction.
Despite the obvious.

They have to honour the licenses already issued otherwise they face legal action. No new licenses will be issued I agree. Are you aware that the US has already reduced its co2 emissions considerably by using indigenous gas instead of dirtier fuels which is what Eire should be doing and reductions are significant if you study the europa oil report. They also know that the rollout of windfarms is staggering with supply limitations. |
Threats of multi billion EU climate fines have resulted in a situation where no future Irish government will sanction any further fossil fuel exploration. DECC will just keep stonewalling all applications as they have done for the past number of years. |
Ireland risks becoming a total basket case unless it addresses it's energy issues pronto. |
All the reasons for more Corrib gas: |
Wrtmf all I can say is today we had a negative growth number and that is down to labour's management of the budget. Someone also needs to tell our friend from Pudsey that if you increase any tax, or disguised tax, that cannot, under any circumstance, be described as a "growth" plan.
Quite a list in today's RNS. Several new concepts in the list. It portrays some confidence in biogenetic gas (although the market seems to have totally written it off). I feel though with this RNS we just might not hear about progress in T and T until the end of Jan. A lot of work being done by a tiny management. Not sure about a Dublin listing that sounds like too much hard work for our already challenged management.
Quick update on new Irish Government:
Anyway the list:
· the continuing MOU-3 testing and perforating programme and operations designed to bring the well into production for a potential CNG development;
· the additional helium potential for wells MOU-3 and MOU-4;
· the Jacobin-1 testing programme and novel wax treatment in the Cory Moruga Licence onshore Trinidad and follow-up plans for Snowcap-1 re-entry and wax treatment;
· Acquisition and proposed acquisition of assets onshore Trinidad establishing Predator as a production company;
· Optimisation of Trinidad operating costs, overheads and well productivities to increase profit margins to efficiently utilise significant tax losses;
· 2025 production guidance for onshore Trinidad with the objective of potentially exiting 2025 at 400 to 600 bopd following completion of acquisitions and successful work over programmes and wax treatments;
· Update on an award of the Corrib South successor authorisation, Atlantic margin of Ireland adjacent to the Corrib Gas Field;
· Potential to offer CO2 sequestration services using Predator Oil & Gas Trinidad Limited equipment; technical expertise; environmental reporting standards and operational know-how;
· Divestment strategy in the event of a successful MOU-5 Titanosaurus well;
· Agreed farmout strategy in the event of an award of the Corrib South successor authorisation and potential to spin out Predator Oil and Gas Ventures Limited and list in Dublin;
· Review and clarification of key financial health indicators contained within the Company's published Financial Statements for the Year Ending 31 December 2023 and Interim Results for the period ending 30 June 2024 and impact of increased potential production revenues during 2025;
· Launch of the re-designed company website. |
it's off topic, but it cuts to the lie of western governments, deep in their hearts,
'Building the homes the nation needs is more important than protecting nature and the environment, the Prime Minister has suggested' |

Anybody have PG's direct Company email address. I suppose it can only be 1 of 3 or 4 possibles... |
The election results seemed to be announced promptly - so not organised by PG. |
They'll prob need 8 or 9 to have a safeish working majority. But negotiating with independents might be easier than labour or social Democrats....interesting watch |
Actually only 2 independents needed to form a government |
wrtmf, please don't mention the carbon foot print of the required mining of raw materials, production, maintenance and disposal of wind turbines and then the mining building and maintenance of an enlarged grid to carry the electricity as the Greens omitted to include this in the spread sheets that they sent to Ed our scientifically illiterate Secretary of State put in charge of Energy. |
137/174 seats filled greens 1 seat |
parking the above aside...
'The Green Party, which formed part of the last coalition government, could lose all of its TDs (parliament members) after winning 12 seats in 2020' |
the wef/net0 agents hide in all the parties
its been said the energy required to source the raw materials, manufacture, transport, assemble, maintain, and decommission a wind turbine is greater than the energy it will create over its lifetime
[in the uk, i understand, big compensation payments are made to the owners of wind farms, whose supply can't be accommodated into the national grid] |
Depends on how strong the FF and FG vote turns out but last time was 140 days and that was a "straight forward" 3 party coalition. Saying that I heard that they may be able to grab some strong Independents and crack on. Would not hold you breath though! |
How long to wait for the next coalition government to be formed and able to make policy decisions? |
Yep Green Party destroyed in Irish vote. |
