'Predator Oil & Gas, an emerging player in energy exploration, is preparing to drill a new well in its onshore license in Guercif, a promising region for natural gas. This project is part of an ambitious strategy aimed at confirming the significant gas resources identified during previous exploration campaigns.
A site with high prospects The Guercif license, located in northeastern Morocco, is strategically positioned near the Maghreb-Europe Gas Pipeline. It offers potential access to local and international markets seeking clean energy. Predator has already conducted detailed geophysical analyses, revealing formations that could contain significant gas reserves.
A strategic drilling This new well, planned for the first quarter of 2025, targets specific structures identified during seismic campaigns. Previous drilling has confirmed the presence of high-potential zones, reinforcing expectations around this next crucial step.
A bet on clean energy in Morocco Morocco, strongly committed to the energy transition, represents a major opportunity for companies like Predator Oil & Gas. The increase in demand for natural gas to power local industries and power plants makes Guercif a strategic region for the country's energy security.
On the way to production If the drilling results are conclusive, Predator Oil & Gas could move quickly to the development phase, paving the way for commercial production. This would position the company as a key player in the Moroccan energy sector while stimulating the local economy through job creation and massive investments.
The drilling of this new well in Guercif is a defining moment for Predator Oil & Gas and a crucial step in the exploration of Morocco’s energy resources. The industry and markets will be closely monitoring the results of this promising campaign.

off topic - i see very recently, mark carney, ex-gov of bank of canada, ex-gov of bank of england, champion of davos-wef-un sdg, has entered the race to replace trudeau. minister ryan, trudeau, milliband, carney are cut from the same cloth |
Hopefully on Thursday we get an informative Investor Presentation which brings good news. If it doesn't then questions will need answering at the Investor Meet Q&A session at 17.30. |
Some changes to the landscape at MOU 3 (North East near upper red box) on the 30th December. |
Don't forget to send Miliband to Davos!
Irish government coalition negotiations seem done. Reviewed their proposals for next 5 years and only thing to report is they still want to improve security of energy supply and reduce energy costs. No clearcut statement on reducing emissions with transitional indigenous gas.
Struggling to see the sell side of all those buys today. |
Nametrade
Exactly, and if there is any nuclear bombs to drop it should lane in Davos next week would be timed well. fix a lot of problems |
It would be a lot cheaper to shut the border, stop foreign aid and fly all the foreign criminals out to Brussels and Davos… |
Increasing the price of boilers, restricting the supply of home produced gas and then cutting winter fuel subsidy too, its clear they are just trying to hasten the demise of the elderly to rectify the demographic problem. |
ireland get rid of minister ryan uk end up with milli-bann-ed
bad news for uk
'Ministers tabled the powers to enact the boiler tax as a statutory instrument, a type of legislation that can be passed with minimal scrutiny. The measure was brought to a delegated committee in a side room of Parliament on Monday night, where there was little debate and no vote.' ... ''Heat pumps may never be cheaper than gas boilers, Ed Miliband has said. The Energy Secretary made the comments as Labour snuck a boiler tax through Parliament with minimal scrutiny on Wednesday, despite warnings the move will push up prices. Under the scheme, which will come into force in April, boiler manufacturers will be fined if they fail to sell enough heat pumps, which companies have warned will force them to increase the price of installing a new gas boiler by as much as £120. When asked to confirm whether the Government would abandon the proposed 2035 ban on new gas boilers at a parliamentary committee, he said: “We can say to people you need to get a heat pump, not a gas boiler, potentially, at some point in the future.'

Ok back from hols.
LB had only 2,385,387 shares when he left and his major interest in 15.35m options lapsed (not by date but must have been by him leaving). Have checked in detail now.
My 40m calculation started on the wrong foot by the RNS dated 24/5/2023 and in any event I think that RNS was wrong . He never had an interest in 29m shares.
Prospectus 10/8/23 555600 Replacement shares 17/8/23 500000 Bonus 1/12/23 1329787
Options 7.5m at 10p expires 8/11/29 ........ now lapsed options 7855486 at 8p expires 11/5/30 .......now lapsed

Sorry think you are right Keith. Will look back when home from holiday but last financial statements indicate I was badly wrong. Heres to a great 2025 for PRD. |
Keith, it’s just something to write on a BB… Like most of the comments on this board… |
"He refused the 5 p bid for all his stock" Where did you get that from? |
@MP. If you mean Lonny Baumgardner, he has never held 40M shares. At the time of the share loan, he held 11,183,605. There is no PDMR notification that he acquired more, either by on-market purchase, award by the company, or through option exercise. At the point of his leaving the company, he had 7,427,042 unexercised options, which lapsed unexercised. It would seem very odd if he was selling his shares now, unless out of personal financial necessity. |
Maybe he would be wise to hold whatever he has left. |
My view is Larry B is selling some down. He refused the 5 p bid for all his stock and the company saw the chance to bank more cash.40 m shares. |
