Depends on how strong the FF and FG vote turns out but last time was 140 days and that was a "straight forward" 3 party coalition. Saying that I heard that they may be able to grab some strong Independents and crack on. Would not hold you breath though! |
How long to wait for the next coalition government to be formed and able to make policy decisions? |
Yep Green Party destroyed in Irish vote. |
Greens. 1 seat projected. |
'Speaking to RTÉ News, Minister for the Environment and former Green Party leader Eamon Ryan said today has been "very disappointing" for his party. "I think we can still return people to the Oireachtas, I heard people saying there we would get zero seats, I’m not sure that will be the case, we’ll have to wait and see," Ryan said. "It’s been a hard day for us, but we’re proud and proud of the work we’ve done, the campaign we’ve run.," he said. Ryan said the Green Party has been "in this place before", but he said "you accept it and you listen and you learn and you come back stronger". "We’ve done that before and I’m convinced we can and will do it again." '
'Green Party leader Roderic O'Gorman has said his party has "not had a good day" and has accepted that some of his party colleagues will lose their seats. '
'In 2011, the last time Greens exited a coalition government, the party lost all six of its TDs (MPs).' |
no party is fielding 88 candidates to win outright [total 173 seats to fill]
-- background
'The Irish government is made up of two Houses of the Oireachtas: the Dáil Éireann and Seanad Éireann. Today's count is for the Dáil Éireann, which was made up of 160 members - also known as Teachtaí Dálas (TDs) - but will increase to have 174 after this general election. Following the 2020 election, Fianna Fáil had the most TDs with 38, followed by Sinn Féin with 37, and Fine Gael with 35. The Green Party had 12 members, Labour and Social Dem both had 6, and Aontú and Independents 4 Change both had one TD each. Five members were People Before Profit, and the remaining 19 TDs were independents.' |
Coalition will take a little while to negotiate but don't expect the Greens in there as they have annoyed the farming industry and they are likely only to achieve 4% max of the vote unlike the 7% they had the last time. FF and FG know they would be inviting trouble if they were allowed in again.
Note to shorters if there are any.... you are suppose to sell high buy low not the other way around. |

Agreed. It all hinges on who the minority partner kingmakers will be. Social Democrats or labour look likely but dont be surprised if a motley crew of independents make up the numbers. Let's hope none of them are purist green leaning folk but are more pragmatic types....GLA |
2 days to Irish GE Should be interesting! |
it's prd filtered |
Itsprd....fwiw imo troll on the lse board and now trolling here too. Apparently he sold half near the top, yet is deeply unhappy. Strange behaviour for someone who should be on a free ride at the very least. Draw your own conclusions.

Name one Danmart. |
Lots of red flags with this company
Is it a lifestyle company? |
And whats your point? |
Anyone can write on these BB, does not make it true. Just like PG used a VOX video to replay information that could never be used agaist him, has it was not an offical release. Just like i told him on LSE, where is the Admission of Shares RNS? Since 2020 we have had 11 such RNS's and all followed a placing informing that the shares have been placed but all of sudden we do not. So untill i see official RNS stating the shares have been placed, i will beleive they have not |
a poster on lse contacted camarco ref the 40m shares, they confirmed as issued he's posted a couple of times about this, suggesting folk contact camarco themselves
10.19, yest, razorman 'From Camarco 18 Nov “To confirm, Admission did take place as expected…̶1; ' |
Storage and perhaps indigenous gas in Ireland ready to go. We just need shot of the Greens in this week's election.
Those 40m shares have not been issued yet (no admission to trading RNS) hence no TR1. Secret investor.
News on Trinidad production (could be November), Mou3 testing (top bit exciting) and MOU5 drill (massive 5.916 TCF onshore target) pending.
Doubt anyone is shorting this and still feel a disgruntled Lonny is the reason we are where we are in the share price. Think he rejected 5p. Now the bid is 5p he might sell to the strategic investor.
Might have some capitulation then a quick bear trap and technicals perfect its hold tight for the long ride north. |
Very misleading bid price today. 5.00!!!
Sells have been going through at 5.38 and 5.40 all day. In reality the price is probably slightly up on yesterday. These mm’s are always trying something… |
Really Purple? Who is paying you that much? |
Keep trying purple head |

Are we sure the share price hasn't broken down through the long term upward trendline?

The share price moved up to within a whisker of the rapidly descending 15 dma and didn't like what it saw:

There is no sign the fall has abated.
The death cross has worked well.
The share price is within the Bollies, flirting with the lower Bollie band:

There is plenty of room for more steps downward.
I'm still at £58.90.
Be careful. |
