Cheers john. Maybe the SOU / SDX IR role is a side hustle.......doesn't seem to, on first look, fit into her role at Live Group?
BTW, norice Stephen Birrell is also a director at LG. As they all seem to come and go together, so to speak, I wouldn't be surprised to see Parsons lurking over there as well. I have a number of emails from him when he was at SOU........enough to fill the pages of a fiction novella. |
When did Sarah Dees start working at SDX? I remember her being the lightning rod to James Parson's excess at SOU......... |
Interesting from Union Jack Oil today. Not for now but at some point this could help PRD. |
Let’s see… |
You are right Nametrade. We have sometime April to May.
It was Chariot that have a contract (for it later in the year) not SDX. Chariot seem to have it next according to a tweet linked on the LSE board. |
MarioPeter, it doesn’t actually state that…. |
We know where the Star Valley rig is. |
If I were the new PM I'd want to cast my eye over any pending policy announcements, that's it really.
As an aside, I still don't understand why selling breaks out when the price edges up a tiny bit. |
Good point.
I know you are not referring to the alleged DUP depravity in the North.
Sinn Fein looking stable North and South.
New leader of FG might do well to prolong the gap to the next election as there is a question mark still over the recent resignation....latest general election date is Q1 2025 from memory. |
It wouldn't be a surprise if the recent Irish political upheaval delayed any decision. |
Think the market is more focused on MOU5, the big Jurassic. Testing will happen somewhere in Q2 also. Not heard from the Irish Government I suppose ... no surprise there but follow on license may give rise to a farm out to operator of Corrib North. |
jung -- whether we are or not, we have just crept on to the highest %age winners board ( no 9 ) up 14%

Are we testing yet? |
Yes, mariopeter, I see PG as a frontiersman. |
Yes indeed Buffinman. CRH the Irish cement company moved from FTSE 100 to New York and have more than doubled in price in less than two years. You can see what has happened bitcoin too. Agreed enough on their plates at PRD. Selling assets to the oil and gas industry would be ideal as really don't think PG is up for development in Morocco but he may have to get CNG rolling.
Will be watching for any others doing the same as CRH though. |
Interesting point about the US listing, mariopeter: I keep reading of UK companies who've arranged for an additional listing in the US and their mkt cap has risen.
That said, I feel the BoD have more than enough on their plate already. |
Yep ZPHR is really very tiny BUT does have a low tier US listing hence the market cap. Target max 0.66 bcf of helium. Is 10 TCF of gas not a bit better? |
2 Solaris: There's far less identified prospect in Zephyr, which has a market cap of £75m against our £47m. PI's do like trickles of news. |
Well nearly time for the big appraisal drill. Targeting 600 bcf but we all know its more like 2 to 3 TCF. Possible oil or liquid gas too. Drilling in carbonate so easier to drill and test.
We also now know the Jurassic will be sold if a success.
Ithaca today are planning to pay £560m for 100 mmbo and 40k bopd from ENI UK in the high tax North Sea. A nice deal but tiny in comparison to what is shaping up in Morocco.
They might farm out Ireland shortly and they might also unlock the current 7 TCF in Morocco too. Trinidad to benefit from Sandjet .
All for a measly £45m market cap. This is very seriously undervalued and see little reason why sellers will appear on the next phase up.
One day you will wake up and the share price will be many multiples of the previous day's share price. I too don't expect the London market can get the pricing correct (the price is "no clue" seller driven) so will wait for the corporate events.
"MOU-5 is expected to be drilled between 1 April to 31 May 2024" |
Don't languish in the Doldrums, ZPHR are drilling for helium, possibly as early as June this year. |
The force is strong here.
Nobody likes a chart, so here are two.
The Bollies have narrowed as the share price drifts:

A change is coming.
The bounce following the testing rigmarole decline is on the cusp of turning into a death cross:

Your company needs you!
There might be a bump in the road.
Be careful. |
Thanks Divmad,The very thought of a mini having 7 TCF is incredible though. Agreed must flow. |
It may have been updated on Jan 25th, but it was only published last week. Perhaps folk should read it compared to the previous document. The language is much stronger, and there is clear indication that the pending Successor Authorisations will be issued forthwith. The FSRU proposals are still for a State-run emergency supply only, but I fail to see how that can possibly stack up against the Mag Mell proposal of a fulltime, commercial, diversification of supply. A public/private partnership is mentioned, I think for any private organisation to become involved will require a significant move of the current goalposts. |
So a day after that was published 25th Jan the RNS dated 26th did:
"The Company has received since its last operations update a communication from the GeoScience Regulation Office ("GSRO") at the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications informing the Company that consideration of its application for a successor authorisation to Licensing Option 16/26 Corrib South is hoped to be concluded during Q1 2024 and that the GSRO would be writing to the Company shortly in relation to this matter".
Sounds promising, hopefully an interesting week ;-)
