Thanks Divmad,The very thought of a mini having 7 TCF is incredible though. Agreed must flow. |
It may have been updated on Jan 25th, but it was only published last week. Perhaps folk should read it compared to the previous document. The language is much stronger, and there is clear indication that the pending Successor Authorisations will be issued forthwith. The FSRU proposals are still for a State-run emergency supply only, but I fail to see how that can possibly stack up against the Mag Mell proposal of a fulltime, commercial, diversification of supply. A public/private partnership is mentioned, I think for any private organisation to become involved will require a significant move of the current goalposts. |
So a day after that was published 25th Jan the RNS dated 26th did:
"The Company has received since its last operations update a communication from the GeoScience Regulation Office ("GSRO") at the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications informing the Company that consideration of its application for a successor authorisation to Licensing Option 16/26 Corrib South is hoped to be concluded during Q1 2024 and that the GSRO would be writing to the Company shortly in relation to this matter".
Sounds promising, hopefully an interesting week ;-)

Last updated Jan 25th 2024. |
Thanks for the correction Keith, it's much appreciated |
The 'Securing Ireland's Gas Supplies' document is Annex 2 of the overarching 'Energy Security in Ireland to 2030' paper issued last November. |
Has my laptop froze, I can’t see OD3 response. |
Oh dear oh dear. |
OD3. Incorrect. The Irish ENERGY security review was published last year, this is GAS security. This latest publication refers to the previous one several times. |
I don't post on lse, so can someone tell them that the Irish report that they have been wetting themselves over for a day was published.....in November 2023! |
Got to be flow tested first. There's the rub. |
Yes lots of gas there just need to show it flows well |
Good presentation |
Proactive presentation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agdQLQtn6ac |
The gas is there just needs to get it out |
Nice language Purple. Your vocabulary as deficient as your knowledge of PRD? |
What other assets (that are worthless...........but let us ignore the definition of "asset" (i.e. "An asset is a resource with economic value that an individual, corporation, or country owns or controls with the expectation that it will provide a future benefit")) are you referring to purple? |
Prd's other assets are worthless |
