China has over 3000 coal fired power stations, and while expanding wind, is still building more. The US has 217 coal fired ones. India is adding more as the expanding economy is demanding more and more power. Electricity is too expensive in Europe. I know, let's get everything made in China or India where power is cheap and health and safety is virtually extinct. I agree with a big move to green energy but we are such hypocrites because we are polluting every time we buy our goods from China. Next week could be the week that was, let's hope so. Good luck all. |
Flow results will be as early as Tuesday. Exciting times! |
Sorry my post sounds bad in that I may not care about emissions. It is my view that gas is necessary for the transition in Ireland. If that is true, and we know it is as it will help replace oil and coal, indigenous gas can be produced at a tiny fraction of the scope 1 emissions currently being incurred on current imports from the North Sea. North Sea gas have scope 1 emissions of cc 20+kgs per boe. Kistos produce Dutch gas at 0.09 kg per boe a huge huge saving so I am massively in support of indigenous gas for this reason. Sadly Equinor ( the green experts) sold out of Corrib citing problems with approvals. That was a holy disgrace and the Green Party are responsible for that and every dirty kg on the North Sea imports. Bwtfdik. The greens should know that but they don't. |
Real possibility of selling Morocco after MOU5 drilled and tested. That is what the LSE board is referring to. They have been talking about a corporate event in Morocco for some time now. PG can retire and work on Ireland and Trinidad .
In Ireland I would be surprised if PRD have not been approached by Fortress who have been let down badly by Minister Ryan on their onshore Shannon LNG terminal. I do note the High Court have allowed Fortress to challenge the planning refusal at Shannon and quite rightly too as Fortress promised no fracked gas and it was refused because the gas was to be fracked!
Will be an election in Eire probably in the next 12 months and should Sinn Fein reach government ( the others have to unite against them in a very strange coalition with the Greens to keep them out as indeed they had the most votes) they may well reopen Kinsale where PRD have a huge discovery (1TCF or so). I can tell you that other policies of Sinn Fein make me think they may be a credible government in the next election.
Put it this way any government without the Greens would be good for PRD. |
That is the question. |
Morning all |
Exactly. Name me one AIM or micro cap UK-listed company that has paid a special dividend whilst still in its development stage. |
What are they expecting it to flow? |
The force is strong here.
It is interesting to see the way the share price is being held.
There is the usual attempt to frighten the horses by intimating somebody knows what is happening.
There might be a surprise on Thursday or Friday morning.
"testing programme is forecast to last for up to 14 days"
Up to 14 days. It could be less.
Like the result of the Mou-4 drill, testing results might appear sooner than peeps think.
Be careful. |
Think he said on a podcast $100 to $150m for 40 bcf. Premium on first lot cfg of course but thereafter maybe a reduced rate. |
Maybe we need the test results before jumping the gun! |
There is some talk on LSE regarding a special dividend. PG has mentioned that ‘ he believes he could sell 40bcf for $150m-$200m’.If PG was to keep $50million back for further funding, would it be possible that the rest could be divided by the number of shares and paid to share holders? Say £100m / 565million shares = 17.5p per share. Has anyone ever benefited from anything like this before? |
Half way through testing, assuming they started on the 29th. Next week should be very interesting, a Valentine's gift? |
Cheers Mario👍Ԁ77;👍 |
Tenner just saw your post 6698. "What's holding this back".
Buyers who want to go into the drill at MOU 5 may not want to take the risk of the flow-test results MOU1 to MOU4. Likely too some hedging going on.
My view (and very highly personal to me) is you need grit if you are happy with your research on likely outcomes. That's not everyone's cup of tea.
I see the upcoming giant MOU 5 drill as a hedge on today's share price if things go awry on flows but a great accelerator if flows are good. Same as PG probably. |
Trust me I'm fully loaded but have got excited many a time only to be let down. One things for sure if they flow at a rate expected or above, 13p will be long gone. |
A bit more blue, just added as well half an hour ago. |
Wait and see |
Nothing is nailed on Dave, hence the lack of movement. |
Which should be nailed on |
It's got to flow first and at commercial rates... |
Your guess is as good as mine! |
Mario, what is holding this back after such a positive RNS? |
