22/3/2018 09:52 | Article on LSE saying that JSW has agreed to buy Debiensko (or certainly the subsidiary that owns the licence) | gersemi
22/3/2018 09:49 | Off and running again this morning and now we have JP Morgan on the shareholders' register as well. I have a very good feeling about this. | lord gnome
21/3/2018 08:15 | So now we know who was doing all the buying. They wouldn't drive the price up to get their stake without knowing something. Perhaps negotiations with JSW are more advanced than we know. It's just a pity that the buying has stopped, I was enjoying the ride. | lord gnome
21/3/2018 07:52 | Polish media reporting that JSW has signed a PLN 1.5bn deal with Arcelor Mittal to supply coking coal for 3 years to make steel. Where is JSW going to find a steady supply of type 34 low ash coking coal? #PDZhttps://twitter. | amaretto
21/3/2018 07:20 | Quelle surprise! Dots are joined and you have an RNS confirming it as a result:https://www.i | amaretto
19/3/2018 16:06 | Precisely and still people don't join the dots. Relentless selling and all soaked up plus JSW in talks. Hardly difficult to figure it out. | amaretto
19/3/2018 15:46 | All sells again today and yet the quote hasn’t moved. Someone is mopping up a lot of stock. This is about to get very interesting. | lord gnome
19/3/2018 09:55 | Sold my 72k holding this morning. Held for a year and made about 10%. Not brilliant but think we might see a small pullback from here. Good luck to all. | joemillion
16/3/2018 18:50 | Just a little light profit-taking today. Inevitable after a good run. Business as usual next week and hopefully we will hear some details of the talks with JSW. I'd take £900 millions plus a 5% production royalty for Jan Karski. I'd even say thank you. | lord gnome
16/3/2018 10:14 | Strangely for AIM, when we have plenty of buyers the price goes up and when we have plenty of sellers the price remains static. Soaking up those sells in the background? If so, wonder why??? Looks really positive here. Hopefully the meeting goes well today. | amaretto
15/3/2018 11:13 | Reports in Polish press of next meeting between Prairie and JSW taking place tomorrow. If this is the case then there will be an update in the next few days ,even if it's just to confirm that the meeting took place. 'On Wednesday, Parkiet announced Friday's Prairie Management Board meeting with the management board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa regarding potential cooperation in implementing coal projects in Poland Prairie Ben Stoikovich on our question whether it is possible to extend talks with JSW about cooperation on the Dębieńsko project for the construction project of the Jan Karski mine in the Lublin region, he replied: "Poland undoubtedly needs new coal mines, Prairie has the most advanced coking coal projects in Europe, I support that we are open to cooperation with Polish partners, our goal is to build these mines , creating thousands of new jobs in mining and the development of the Polish economy. " | cottoner
15/3/2018 10:40 | Chart looks over extended for the time being, it looks like the market is expecting some form of update in the next few days but if that doesn't come can see this slipping back. Very promising situation but these things do take a long time | saw89
15/3/2018 09:51 | It? Or one each perhaps. | lord gnome
15/3/2018 09:06 | Given the Chinese would love to build & finance the mine (& maybe own and operate it), which they potentially wouldn't be able to do if JSW bought it (surely they'd build it using their own preferred suppliers), does that not cause some sort of competitive tension between the two to control it? Thoughts anyone? | amaretto
15/3/2018 09:05 | If the NPV of our two projects is anything like that stated, then this is just the start. | lord gnome
14/3/2018 15:59 | As I said earlier, someone is buying all loose stock. JSW or the Chinese? | lord gnome
14/3/2018 15:14 | There must be buyers about, they'll take 100k (shares) off me at 45.95 | plentymorefish
13/3/2018 11:10 | Cheers for posting Cottoner, very interesting watch. | plentymorefish
13/3/2018 09:42 | Share talk presentation Published on 13 Mar 2018 CEO Ben Stoikovich presenting Prairie Mining Limited at Share Talk investors show in London, UK. Prairie Mining is focused on the development of tier one, world-class coking coal mines in Europe. The company is developing the Jan Karski and Debiensko Mines in Poland which currently have a combined potential NPV of US$2.5 billion based on over US600 million EBITDA per year. | cottoner
13/3/2018 08:17 | The president of JSW, quoted by the daily, Daniel Ozon announces that the meeting will take place in the next ten days. Its subject is to be, among others, the construction of the Jan Karski mine planned by Prairie Mining in the Lublin region. Rzeczpospolita reminds that both companies have talked so far about cooperation within the Dębieńsko mine project in Silesia. As we read in "Rzeczpospolita", the president does not disclose what the cooperation of both companies would be based on, but according to the daily, it may be about the acquisition of Prairie Mining coal projects in Poland. At the same time, the newspaper states that the talks are at a very preliminary stage. | cottoner
13/3/2018 07:56 | So JSW readily admit to looking seriously at Debiensko and now admit to wanting to look at Jan Karski and state they have plenty of cash to 'invest' in such mines.Quite surprised at the subdued response so far given Praire only valued at approx £60 million whilst Debiensko recently valued at 400 million Euros. | amaretto
13/3/2018 07:55 | The order book hasn't budged either. It's like the dead zone. I've never seen an order book like it. 4 v 2 and it's been like that for weeks and all orders are MM's. No DMA trades whatsoever | gersemi
13/3/2018 07:52 | Interesting news, Cottoner. I suppose it all comes down to price. How much will JSW pay and on what basis. I dare say that the Chinese would also be interested in buying Jan Karski. Whatever, I don't see Prairie staying with this until first production in 2023. They will cash out, and possibly in the next twelve months. Hopefully at a price that is some multiple of the current share price. Somebody behind the scenes is buying up all the loose stock at 43p. The market has absorbed a heck of a lot of selling in the last few sessions and the price hasn't budged. Definitely one to hold tight. | lord gnome
13/3/2018 07:36 | Latest from JSW Extracts from attached interview : What are you talking about? We want to refinance our debt, and for today we have to pay 855 million zlotys from bonds. It would also be good to have extra money to meet our investment needs. Only this year, we plan to spend PLN 1.8 billion on investments. In the next two years, expenditures will reach PLN 1.5-1.6 billion. We therefore need a long-term source of financing in addition to the cash surplus that we are achieving today. When will the second meeting with Prairie Mining be held regarding the project to build the Dębieńsko mine? I think that the meeting will take place in the next ten days. We want to further discuss the potential cooperation with Prairie Mining. Meanwhile, Prairie announced that also in the planned second mine - Jan Karski in the Lublin region - the main product will be coking coal. Is this an interesting option for you? We heard about it. This may also be the topic of our next meeting. So far, we have only talked about Dębieńsk, which is located in the immediate vicinity of our mining concessions. So you do not say "no" to take over the project Jan Karski? We will talk about it, but we need to learn more about this project. Dębieńsko is well known to us, because it is the same deposit we are currently working on. We know the quality of this coal and geological conditions. We have to take a closer look at the second project. | cottoner |
