lord gnome: We can but hope. The daily tick up is encouraging at least, but if anyone had a real inkling that a deal was about to be done, the share price would be moving north at greater speed and with greater volume of stock traded. I think we are moving north purely on hope value.
lord gnome: You have the satisfaction of knowing that you moved the share price. ?
lord gnome: Super articles plenty. Surely we are on to a winner here. I can't understand why the share price doesn't reflect the hope value. A takeover would provide a clean exit for Prairie's investors. Tic toc.
lord gnome: So now we have the RNS confirming talks still ongoing and hinting at a deal to come. Bringing in a few buyers and we have a tick up in the share price. Helpful to say the least.
lord gnome: Having done a little bit of digging, it would appear that the sudden burst of selling may be something to do with the future of the CEO of JSW. A story has appeared in the Polish press to the effect that the Polish government wants to sack him, but that he is being protected by the trades unions. The way I see things, any threat to him is a threat to our proposed deal, hence the fall in the share price.
lord gnome: Excellent news this morning. Hopefully we can look forward to the recovery of our share price. Onwards and upwards.
lord gnome: Now let me get this straight. On 3 April, the share price sinks through the floor as a few worried investors sell out following an RNS about a delay in issuing a permit. Three days later on 6 April two of our biggest shareholders have both been so busy buying all the loose stock that they have to announce substantial increases in their positions (crossing announcement thresholds). Can I join the dots on this one?
lord gnome: Nice find guyswonga74. Thanks for posting. We may have to be patient for a while longer, but sooner or later this deal will be done and we should all become a bit wealthier as a result. It might just be a very good Christmas. Edit: And now we have a RNS announcement confirming this. Shouldn't do the share price any harm today.
serabi_mining_srb: Huge RNS from Serabi Mining SRB 15 million USD investment at the current Share Price, to a single investor. Very low valuation considering its level of gold output. Results this month, last November showed a huge jump in cash to over 9.7 million USD. Rerate now undeway, and stock in very short supply. Up almost 30% already....
lord gnome: Interesting news, Cottoner. I suppose it all comes down to price. How much will JSW pay and on what basis. I dare say that the Chinese would also be interested in buying Jan Karski. Whatever, I don't see Prairie staying with this until first production in 2023. They will cash out, and possibly in the next twelve months. Hopefully at a price that is some multiple of the current share price. Somebody behind the scenes is buying up all the loose stock at 43p. The market has absorbed a heck of a lot of selling in the last few sessions and the price hasn't budged. Definitely one to hold tight.
