Posted at 05/2/2024 07:51 by mammyoko I would agree with all of that. I'm a longer term investor and can see this being a lot higher in five years' time if it isn't taken out in the meantime |

Posted at 26/1/2015 09:06 by lurki0 Stellar results. Clearly the company is still enjoying a strong growth phase in its re-development of itself since 2010. Its talent for signing new business and then locking in clients to highly profitable after-sales / replacement materials deals rather makes the 'fully valued' mantra periodically vented by learned scribblers as premature as it is myopic. Nevertheless, DYOR etc, etcCongratulations to Ben Stocks and the company - and a massive thanks from this investor for creating true shareholder value. |
Posted at 05/12/2013 18:44 by rogerrail imo investors are looking at the high valuation and are afraid risk of maintaining it is too high, but they are ignoring the fact that a succession of large contracts won in the past year coupled with strong predicted growth in aersopace will provide the cashflow to grow the business and underpin the share price for a few a long while yet. |

Posted at 19/4/2013 20:01 by paulypilot Hi,I don't hold shares in Porvair, but have to say the CEO presentation at the Equity Development Investor Forum event this week (on Weds) was highly impressive. The CEO here really is a class act. I go to lots of company presentations, but his was one of (if not the) most impressive one I've seen. For anyone interested, please see my morning Blog entry the following day (near the bottom in the "company presentations" section) I'm not interested in buying the shares at this very high valuation, but can certainly see why the bulls like this company! Regards, Paul. |
Posted at 10/4/2013 15:05 by paulypilot Hi,Porvair management are presenting to investors at the next investor forum, organised by Equity Development in London next week, on 17 April. I'll be going, as the last one in January was very interesting & well organised (also easy to get to, as in Hanover Square). It's a good opportunity to meet management, hear a presentation from them, then Q&A, which can be as searching as you like! Also can usually mingle afterwards with mgt, and chat to other investors. Should be a good event. You can book yourself in by visiting this link to ED's website: Regards, Paul. |
