Thanks, Mo. I'm still crying over why I didn't follow Dattels out when he sold; should have known there wasn't much upside if he sold. I hoped tang would bribe GCM to success; so schadenfreude.

Mo: If you get a reply from Prism is there any way to find out how they regard Tang? i.e. a useful or useless shareholder?

To Polo BVI office.

Dear Polo

When are you going to issue some details on the the current holdings of Polo.
Since delisting precious few details have been released other than the Hibiscus holding.
Do Polo intend to relist?
I was not afforded any reply to the requests I sent to your South Africa office for requests about the current state of affairs. Is the company to be wound up?
Has the South Africa office closed?
Is Michael Tang going to produce a report for his shareholders or does he regard them with contempt?

I wait in anticipation.

Yours sincerely

Concerned shareholder.

I’ve just noticed that in the last few days the contact address for Kudyasi plus the telephone and email address has been removed from the Polo contact page on the Polo website.
Has the South Africa office closed?
Only contact now is an email address in the BVI.
What’s happening Mr Tang?

No news on any Polo assets other than Hibiscus since way before Christmas and still no annual report.
Repeated requests for an update on a possible re-listing and requests for other information have met with a wall of silence.

Hi BV nice to hear from you.Like you I have gone onto another Bp
Wasted so many years with Polo
They still have really good assets.Have they been taken/…… away from us.Time will tell
Prism was a real Gem.That’s why I held onto them.I should have listened to Simon Cawkwell about what he said about Tang.
Take care.
Maureen

Hello Spights,

Nice to know that you are still around. Polo has been a bit of a disaster, but I still check in here from time to time to see if there is any news. It hasn't quite worked as we had hoped all those years ago on the ii discussion board. Clearly GCM's progress (or lack of) had a lot to do with it. I suppose we will eventually find out if the word Datuk really means something!

More than made up for this misadventure by going in very heavy with AAZ. Well, so far anyway!

Best wishes,

BV

What’s the Hibiscus holding worth?
It’s not as if Polo has no value but without a market listing selling Polo is a nightmare…

There are plenty of us who have lost lots through tang's ineptitude. I was in from Dattel's time and [stupidly] thought that if tang was prepared to pay 36p, I couldn't lose by continuing to hold. Doesn't seem much we can do about it?

A few years back Evil Knievel (Simon Cawkwell) met Tang in the Grosvenor Hotel and told him he's "either a crook or an idiot".Watching what's going on now I've made my mind up..... I bailed out a few years ago, lost a 6 figure sum, but my guess is Polo will never come back to the market, Tang is keeping the lot and it's now a total loss for remaining investors.Spights - are you still there? What's your opinion? I always appreciated reading your thoughts when I was a holder.

Sent today.

Dear Kudzayi

I have emailed the Polo office several times over the last few months requesting information on production of the annual report, whether the company is going to relist and why no information has been forthcoming about any of the other assets since February.
I have not received even an acknowledgement of my very reasonable request .This is very poor.
Perhaps Michael Tang could relay to his shareholders what is happening with the company?

Yours etc Polo and GCM shareholder.

Peter - I so agree with you. Tang should be prosecuted at the very least. I have been a Polo shareholder for years and there was no reason to just lose our money. The company had part share of numerous good assets and the demise of the business is clearly the fault of poor or crooked management. Is there no interest in such shady dealings from LSE or the financial misconduct authorities ?

So why did Tang resign as GCM chairman.

Tang is in control of GCM. GCM acquired a new Nomad recently so your statement is clearly wrong.
