Hamish do the right thing and step down. Clear from that RNS you have no regard for shareholders. Nigel Burton , in as no executive. He needs to take over this sinking ship and turn it around.

It's a bit obvious looking at Friday's trades, there is always 1-5 people who chase the biggest % riser each day then sell for a big loss the next when they buy random number amounts 25,186,352

Hedgehog - "Yes, the fact that they got a discount of over 50% to the share price at the time".

There is no discount of over 50% or any %. If the shares were trading at 2p and then they announced a placing at 1p that is a 50% discount. The shares were suspended at 2p and reopened at the new placing price. Even if there was no placing the stock would have plunged anyway because of the failed RTO and the need to raise further funds. And if you're an existing holder you don't want anymore placings even for PIs you want the shares to rise from here.

ryan83

Yes I agree. But you cannot improve things by asking the company to issue more shares at 1p so PIs can get in at the same price as the bucket shops. Anymore issues at 1p only prolongs any further rises. You buy in open market at today's price even with the £10 dealing cost.

" ... There is obviously a reason why Novum and Turner Pope are taking on the risk."

Yes, the fact that they got a discount of over 50% to the share price at the time, with the new share price being covered (for the moment) by assets, plus one for one warrants at the same price.

If a new RTO is arranged, the shares are likely to be suspended again when it is announced.

But in any case, why buy in the market at over 0.01p (or 1p after consolidation), if you can buy new shares at that price, without dealing costs, and perhaps with warrants attached?

The warrants give exposure to potential upside within a year, but without the downside (including potential delisting).
And if the company needed to raise funds at below the nominal value in the future, it could change it fairly easily, as has been done in many other cases.

Lets wait and see. The stock has been suspended for six months so we know they have not been forwarding selling placing stock which is the case 99% of the time in all discounted placings.

There is obviously a reason why Novum and Turner Pope are taking on the risk.

Pwhite i hope too Hamish has something good to show before GM, if so, he should let the share price reflect any good news and raise higher..

Hedgehog

The company has said the offer to retail shareholders whether through primary bid or open offer will only go ahead if the resolutions at the GM are passed. Its all rather silly talking about letting PIs in at the same price as the bucket shops when the shares are selling at that price now. If you intend to buy then buy now at 0.0099p.

What is also good is that the nominal value of the 100 - 1 consolidated will be 1p. Which in old money is today's price of 0.01p. So any new shares after the GM cannot be issued lower than today's price.

The live issue here is what is all this money for. If they have nothing to show before the GM then its a big fat NO.

Will vote against.. when he explains why he needs to extra money then he can do another GM and try again.
