You make it sound so easy, simple even. To be clear all anyone needs to do is look at the list of companies that are being shorted and they "will always be right", just like you.

Even a child could understand this approach.

Hi poolefox - good to see you back and some great posts - interesting that your trades are pretty similar to mine.

And like you I have bought back some today in the expectation of a further ahead TS early in January. Not difficult to buy volume (single trades) at 1310 so presumably a large seller around at this sort of price (and chart suggests a bump stop at 1310 currently)

As I have said before European retail customers can still trade full leverage via an Australian Account (for now and ESMA rules dictate that Brokers not allowed to advertise this facility but presumably common knowledge via BBs and not hard to find on PLUS's website) and PLUS uniquely offer EPCs negative balance protection so might be taking customers from Competitors especially as most EPCs are new EPCs and will have lost this protection when moving from a retail to EPC account with other Brokers (even though a recent ESMA change)

Yes bought some more this morning could be volatile as they go down with everything else even though heightened volatility is great for PLUS!! no logic with Mr Market it seems
and after hours there's been some really large buys

They did update the market on 3rd Jan last year. Saying profits ahead of estimates. Both Lib & Ber updated their H2 & FY numbers at this point which they they went on to "beat" by some margin. ie even after year end the guided well under the actual figures.

Last year Notice of Results was 5th Feb and Prelims were 14th Feb. I'd expect something similar in 2019.

Poolefox, yes you'd have to expect they're trading really strongly at the moment. This is high and sustained volatility with no sign of let-up. I hope so anyway, I'm maxed out on this share. Does anyone know when next update likely to be?

Fibonacci Retracement lists 1200p as the next floor. Expect to hit that sometime in January; after that it's all the way down to 1000p. As usual, do your own analyses.

Come on if you hadn’t realised that he has no inside information.There is no ‘biggy’ the fears with plus are its customer churn but because it’s expanded into South Africa and Singapore two of the largest CFD trading territories and continues to add the latest fads ie crypto fang cannabis and volatility is going to continue to be high it will prosper from this and be its low cost of running and superior technology.I have traded Plus a lot I’ll admit got in at £4 sold most at £8 bought back at £4 and up sold the majority at £18 bought back at £13 but only hold 1/4 of what I did.Same as the founders I feel the need diversify took a lot of risk hold around 12% of my portfolio at the peak of £18.I remember a founding Psion director held £4 m of shares the year later they were worth £1 m as their technology was outdated same will happen to IG hence the Odey short on it
