RNS will not be until tomorrow or day after if purchased today. I was just wondering as last time they did a share buy back they started almost immediately. So bottom line is Im not patient enough to wait until 7am tomorrow morning lol

We await the next imaginary closing trade from El Cap on a spike down. His best one was earlier this year when the price spiked down 30p for less than a minute - he told he closed his imaginary out of the money short right at the bottom of the spike an hour later - genius - you couldn't make it up

Anyway here's my trade from yesterday
Long 1215p at 08.15am closed 1355p at 4.20pm GAIN 140 points!
And you can ask an anonymous poster here if you don't believe me lol!

I'll let you know how I do today after the close!
When I know where the bottom and top was - might even go short if PLUS falls overall!

Elcapital ... the share price was always likely to drop back in early trading after yesterday's big rise. It remains to be seen how things go over the rest of the day and over the next few weeks.

My view is that yesterday's trading update, while hardly outstanding, was quite a bit better than the pessimistic expectation that was priced into the share price I expect the share price to ease upwards under pressure from closing shorts, over-pessimistic sellers buying back in, traders betting on a rise, etc. As usual, we shall see.

The previous share repurchase programme was announced on Friday 2nd June 2017 and commenced on Monday 5th June. First share repurchase RNS was 7.00am Tuesday 6th.

So the first share repurchase of the current programme could well be today...

"Plus500's Board has approved a programme to buy back an initial amount of up to $10 million of the Company's shares in accordance with the authority granted at the Company's AGM."

Interesting to see what their share price target is - those "certain parameters" -

"With effect from today, the Company has appointed Liberum Capital Limited ("Liberum") to manage an irrevocable, non-discretionary share buy-back programme to repurchase on its behalf, and within certain parameters."

General rebound day expected on markets today, FTSE futures up near 1%. So will be interesting to see how Plus does today.

Yes most of the short positions were opened on the way down from £20-£15 by the professionals
El Cap joins in at £15 for a few points of pretend money - closing tooo early
Makes a lot of NOISE though!
Dave
