Rather my point about constituencies being allowed to choose their own representatives....

"His defection sparked bitter words from his constituency association. Sam Murray, a Suffolk County councillor, posted on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Good riddance. So glad I no longer have to apologise for his failure to turn up in North Ipswich regularly.”"

Good news that a "Conservative" MP has defected to Labour. It's all coming out now.

Pint of Guinness before the game and a salmonella burger just before half time.

2-0 win, but not enough, down on goal difference.

Morning Patriots.

Nice Mikey, although I do agree with monts on the pricing.

Walsall wood for me today, the possibility of a warm pint of mild and a ‘batch’ before the game perhaps?

Voting labour instead of conservative is like changing your jacket when you’ve pooed in your trousers

Noice Mikey - but rather bizarre pricing imco. Starters very reasonable except calamari (a very cheap ingredient) at £14 and similarly pork belly £24. The desserts at £12 seem a bit overpriced also.

The Home Office is ordering civil servants to move to Rwanda to oversee asylum processing

Whats the betting theres more civil servants on the ground than migrants to 'process', & havent they already been processed here for deportation to Rwanda?

BOL!

An employment tribunal ordered the Metropolitan Police commissioner to pay £25,403 ($31,790) to a Black constable, after ruling that a sergeant had discriminated against him by remarking that he had stared "menacingly."
