09/5/2024 11:06 | Thanks, jeffian. What is a lawn scarifier? A lawn scarifier is a machine that removes thatch – a fine layer of old grass stems, dead moss and other debris like leaves that gets compacted in your lawn over time. It can stop water and nutrients getting to the soil below and stops the grass rooting properly - and can even suffocate them. | avatar333
09/5/2024 11:05 | It could have been mate. | michaelg1
09/5/2024 11:04 | #9060, No, but they did supply the scarifier and rake elements the next day after the order, so I suppose i could drag those around on a piece of string. | jeffian
09/5/2024 10:58 | It was Mr Fox who first called it 'rona', wasn't it, MG? | avatar333
09/5/2024 10:55 | Further to #9058, when I went into the car park to find the Audi with it's alarm going off, hazard lights flashing and rear bumper hanging off, I looked at the Belgian lady who had moved her car away and refused to make eye contact. I pointed to my damage with a questioning look and she just shrugged and adopted a 'butter-wouldn't-mel | jeffian
09/5/2024 10:49 | Any sign of your new mower, jeffian? | avatar333

ADDED TEXTURE & VOLUME - For a rough and ready surfer look, add texture and volume with Johnny's Trigger Happy Texturising Salt Spray. CAFFEINE & PRO VITAMIN B - With added caffeine & Pro Vitamin B, it won't weigh hair down, leaving hair conditioned and styled. HOW TO USE - Aim and fire at wet or dry hair. The more you use the grittier the finish. Our Texturising Salt Spray is fragranced with our signature barbershop scent of Citrus, Cedarwood, and Patchouli. | michaelg1
09/5/2024 10:47 | #9052, A few years ago, I put in a 'no fault' claim against a Belgian bloke whose wife had whacked my unattended parked car in a hotel car park. He gave full details which I passed on to my insurers. My insurers insisted on using their own repairers who patched and resprayed the broken bumper on my Audi estate (should have been replaced) and then tried to charge me for it on the grounds that the amount was less than my 'excess'! It got sorted out in the end but it was a lot of hassle and the 'repair' was never quite right. As you say, not worth it unless major issues involved. I have found a very good 'under the arches' repairer (who gets a lot of main dealer/insurer work sent to him anyway!) and he sorts out any minor stuff for me for cash. | jeffian |
