Doomed to failure. Why don't these people join one of the already existing alternatives?


Multiple alternatives simply split the vote so they paradoxically do the opposite of what they were designed for.



Amalgamate and keep the loony fringe out. Reform are polling well nationally so why does anyone think we need yet another tiny insignificant alternative?

Interesting to note that your namesake was all over the papers yesterday saying the Tories should be destroyed, that Good Old Nige would effect the destruction if he re-entered politics and that what was required was another(!) new 'conservative' party created by the Loon hi's'en but that he wouldn't have GON anywhere near it. So we have a substantial number of disaffected Tory voters crying out for an alternative but are offered a plethora of start-ups, Reform, Reclaim, independents etc which would ensure that none of them ever get elected. Why on earth can't these people come together to form a single entity?

We all know what is coming with Labour, no one has any hopes at all, let alone high ones. But there is simply no point in the tory party existing in this form, they either need to be completely reformed or replacing.

A sad and sorry price to pay for many, many years of neglect and decline.
