On the way back, I dropped into a card shop (I know I said we don't 'celebrate' Valentines but I suspect Mrs J might sulk if I didn't give it the slightest nod) where there was a group of about 6 blokes jostling round the 'Valentine' section. "Leaving it a bit late, aren't you?" I opined loudly.

They don't have much of a sense of humour in Chiswick......

"quality business like Plexus"

2023 £4.3m operating loss
2022 £4.3m operating loss
2021 £4.4m operating loss

No it's not surprising it got down to the levels it did.

Share price 300p+ to 15p

it has been a total car crash. It's not a quality business. Management over time have presided over most shareholders who bought around those times getting absolutely destroyed if they held on

Perhaps you have to now take what he says with a large dose of salt, a large position increased to near 3% notifiable level, followed by continued top ups (hic), so something doesn't add up or there are sells along the way, fair enough but don't mislead investors.
As the industry continues to thrive, it's time for the sales team to improve or be shipped out, this should be north of 40p now.

Not funny at all. You just need to do the research. In fact what's much more funny is that a quality business like Plexus even got down to these current stupid levels. But I guess for the "investors" amongst us that's the opportunity. Paul see's it & gracefully shares his thoughts on it. Others have seen it for a few years and patience is paying off. The fact they have not diluted shareholders & is actually equivalent to a buyback! This reduces shares loose massively, as soon as the unresearched flighty weak holders buzz off the better as this was building nicely. Management do maybe need prodding to get their sales team moving but they are all experienced in doing that before. If they deliver, boom.

I've "got a little man in" tomorrow to sort out the garden lighting. I'm not very good at electrics (yesterday's heroics with the heaters stretched my abilities to the limit). So I've been sorting out the garden and making everything easily accessible for him so he doesn't do what they all do and trample around like an elephant flattening every living think that is just poking it's head above ground.

He will though.

I have nothing against Paul at all honestly. He seems a normal decent bloke. But it is funny the lead author of the small cap value report is balls deep in a complete blue sky punt stock as his biggest position that could completely go balls up, as it's not a widows and orphans stock!

What is the stockrank on Plexus? Ed Croft must wonder what's going on lol

Ha, the guys had more top ups than Georgie Best, unfortunately he appears to be playing the BB which just doesn't help the share price trajectory.

do you not remember Paul's podcast when he said he was on the move travelling and he was buying back shares on the news driven drop?

Funny that he never mentioned he sold any. In fact he wrote

"paulypilot - 26 Oct 2023 - 15:23:39 - 774 of 1279 Plexus Holdings 2022 - Wellhead Systems for Oil and Gas Engineering - POS
No, Im maxed out on Plexus now, so am happy to just hold for foreseeable future."
