RP must be really confident in 502 in general to take such a bold step. The RP price in hong kong was indeed firm with quite high volume. We are 9 days from confirmation of the deal. The price is likely to increase from the current level though 12.5p equivalent is optimistic. There will be huge buying and selling in the next few weeks but it looks a strong hold to me.

RP - cannot and does not buy or sell its own shares. It is illegal during an offer period.

You have mis-understood the RNS announcements, it is other parties that are buying and selling - principal market makers must report these trades during an offer period.

eh? RP bought half a million shares and sold a million shares? Are they playing complicated games I don't understand? They should just be buying. They can afford to pick up a few. They certainly shouldn't be selling and thereby increasing the eventual dilution.

I spoke to Barclay's today, mine are held in a market master account. They said they would give me all the options once the conditions of the deal were finalised and that they would move them across into an international trading account. I was told I would incur no additional charges just a different cost per trade or inactivity fees.
It all sounded pretty straight forward with Barclays to be honest and they were very helpful.....
There advice has always usually been spot on.

Has anyone looked into whether they'll actually be able to get/hold RP shares with their existing broker if the share offer is announced? I'm with AJ Bell and I can't find the shares listed on their platform.
