I'm surprised the mm's are being so generous to the 100k seller day after day with it being 5 x NMS

£3.86 mil market cap. And QM might be making £1-1.5 mil alone next years accounts.

That's spot on. I know I always slice now after a good run because there is no logic anymore and you nearly always get a opportunity to buy them back and make money because others just want out at any price.

2 x 20k at 13p were mine. Buying back the 15.52p stock I sold

But if this seller has more we could be going lower again

The market is trying to turn us all into short term traders Dave, it really winds me up tbh. What happened to buying shares in good companies on 3-5 year view?

If I was so concerned about the R&d cost I would phone or email the ceo and ask. I am pretty sure he won't bite!

So nothing to say about QM systems going to increase it's profit on it's own by up to 4-8 times then ?

Then Thompson which needs new premises to cope

And the other business's doing ok too.

Profits could ten fold from around 250k to 2.5 mil

pre tax profit 80k

number of shares to be doubled soon (for 1 mio equity capital)

now - go and divide operational profits (real long term measure ) with the future number of shares ....also divis are not coming soon as well imho - as they have to invest a lot into expansions (capital intensive heavy equipment, leases ...) and they have to repay personal loans first ( given at fair rate btw)

so - for myself overvalued - and I am glad others think differently - as that makes the market

BUT

good domestic real production with a momentum building - so I am putting effort into understanding PIP and am following it and I hope to buy it soon enough at what I consider fair value
-----------------------------
instead of laughing at me or my opinion - (why not laughing lol its good) - what is with the research costs !!!???

I expected you will answer that to me - as you know PIP for such a long time

or - can profit before tax be 5 X increased be repeated in the future etc....

or - will personal loans be extended? - if so - why not make the duration of 5 years right now with the possibility of early repayment etc

ok - will give it a rest ..... I even did not go the debt route as you fairly say ;)

just saying overvalued atm and there will be buying opp later on better than now ... but I am clearly wrong .... proven by the market.

I would just like if someone with more knowledge can explain 2 million research costs per year ......year after year.... that is huge and a possible red flag (because it is out of proportion and has no further comment to it)

I can not understand it

TIA

Blimey Kaos3 you are getting a bit desperate now

The reality is like almost every business in the world they were locked down with covid and lost money. And they had a cracking second half to recover all the losses when things opened up.

I mean if you are looking for possible negatives then maybe go down the debt route to the boss, but I think he can start paying himself back with the money they are making now.

reality is

a profit before taxation for the year of GBP79,000 (2020: GBP194,000)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
and a profit after taxation of GBP522,000 (2020: GBP590,000)

2021 2020
GBP'000 GBP'000
--------- ---------

Research and development costs not capitalised 2,285 2,141

Does that mean they each year put in 2 millions into research costs?

Well I said a few times any overall profit will be a cracking result because of the first half losses.

If QM could keep that going it's going to make £1.4 mil in a year and that is just one side of this company. If the rest weigh in with small profits you could be looking at £2 mil profits next to a £4.3 mil market cap

Hopefully with all this money rolling in they can pay down the debts owed to the Ceo too.

wow QM systems making £350k in just one quarter.

There was a time when this whole company was lucky to make £100-200k a year
