07/12/2017 14:31 | Fortunately its not hard to find stats. Their relevance to PETS requires a bit of thought about which stats. are important to the business. Pet ownership volume has been decreasing for a while. Pet care market is steadily increasing in value. Grooming and pampering market is growing. Insurance market is growing, which maps onto the growth in the value of Vetinary services market. | yump
07/12/2017 14:15 | Pet ownership is declining? WRONG | john09
07/12/2017 13:15 | The macro facts are that pet ownership is declining. Online competitors are nibbling away the margins. They're stuck with leases on huge stores. The vet service is a potential saviour as there are synergies and also good rationale for the two businesses to coexist under the same roof. | boonkoh
07/12/2017 08:33 | Yes sell the rises and buy the dips | nw99
07/12/2017 08:17 | Down she goes steadily until the short controllers switch tracks. It's just a game. | insideryou
06/12/2017 18:57 | Ex divi date tomorrow.. 2.5p | alibx11
06/12/2017 10:52 | If SCSW make this a nap tip of 2018 it will rise 10-15% on the day, that will scare the shorters out . I think there’s a very good chance that a year down the line this stock is back to previous highs . 2018 is the year of investment and rollout | john09
06/12/2017 10:40 | Hi John,That's the thing I find concerning about large short positions, in that, they change the dynamic of the stock to a point where it's suppressed and contained. Not to tie PETS in with CLLN fundamentally, but CLLN had/has large positions weighed against it. The price can never peer its head above 20/50 day SMAs. Rally's are sold into as soon as they begin. PETS will not only need institutional buying it will also need them to counter the shorts position. And I'm guessing that could be pricey and risky, and based on the "not excellent" trading update it would seem a very risky gamble. Director buying in this case, to me, is not so relevant. | staylow2
06/12/2017 10:38 | Quite .... M | maurillac
06/12/2017 10:32 | Imagine when they close wow | nw99
06/12/2017 10:27 | Shorts aren’t increasing however . It’s 9.8% at Present and most haven’t increased that since around September . Although one fund increased in November and one in December | john09
06/12/2017 10:23 | Yes the short position I think is strange on this one . I can see why they were shorting it at much higher levels but would have thought there were better stocks to short Assume they are betting on KKR selling down further plus the investments across the pets estate holding back profits . They will look foolish if there’s a bid however | john09
06/12/2017 10:17 | Both sides for consideration. Bear in mind this is now one of the top 10 shorted stocks on shorttracker. | staylow2
06/12/2017 09:57 | Director buying and large institutional buying I know which I would back and have done | nw99
06/12/2017 09:55 | The price is rising steadily the buyer is forcing the shorts to close | nw99
06/12/2017 09:47 | So are the sellers. The bids being taken out at even levels. Big short positions on in this market. I believe they suppress the price with knocking out the bid. Keeps interest low. | staylow2
06/12/2017 09:26 | Topped up buyer is serious | nw99
05/12/2017 13:28 | Nope NEDS are rich retired people keeping their hand in and obliged to buy a few shares | john09
05/12/2017 13:21 | Neds they may be, but they have more of an insight into the workings of the business than we do. | alibx11
05/12/2017 13:04 | Going to turn blue Again hopefully | john09
05/12/2017 10:35 | Kind of. Although they are NEDS, and I own more stock than them. But every little helps I guess ! | john09
