gale - you mean the 4.68m?? It was done at 8p, tho ....

20 x current eps or 25 x ave historic is rule-of-thumb bid valuation. (Just about out-of-date now, I guess...)

This is the prospectus of the $100m 2020 convertible bond. The conversion price is 8.26p and the exchange rate is $1.5171

Inversion - that will presumably be Rakishev converting some of his 225m holdings in the convertible bond.

8.20 is the strike price for conversion, I'm fairly certain.

And even if we go by NAV, any offer has to be at least 11.8p
20 x current eps is actually 17.7p

So. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it would appear that, unless CABS & Slevin are simply acting maliciously or destructively on behalf of some anti-Western high political interest, we have one of two possibilities:

1. Roman Deniskin remains, which would sort the company out.
2. CABS and Slevin buy another £50m worth of shares & make an offer - which other shareholders can easily reject if its too low.

I bought last week thursday, I hope I get my voting rights in electonic form.

Get rid of them.

Let the ruskies put an offer of 15p-20p, who cares about those enrichers who killed shareholders wealth.

Most people did not have a vote of confidence in these goons, causing the share price to crash from 500p+ to 5p. Even Hambro lending shares to JPM to short.

I have also received what I assume is the same letter... problem is, the current board don't make a compelling case as to why I should listen to them and vote in their favour.

The company always did better when PM was present (well, setting aside the whole debt ramp up and associated bust... which was done largely on PM's watch). I'm currently inclined to vote with CABS and Slevin.

As usual I must mention that the IRC debt guarantee remains the millstone around our neck: and if the current board have let things get to where we are now (with a 20th June IRC debt payment deadline approaching) and no solution; then in my humble opinion they are not fit for purpose.

Add that to the recent statement from Company employees, which is a very powerful and public vote of no confidence in the current board.

Always welcome to hear what everybody else thinks.

That's where I'm at right now with my own thinking anyway.

GLA, GRB.

I think it's a no-brainer that PI's should vote to get rid the current board and re-instate Maslovsky, Lyne and Jenkins.

This would give us a board of respectable people who we can trust. It is also the stated preference of the operations people in Amur province. They want Maslovsky back, because he knows how to run a mining operation.

Genges Rakishev is a Kazakh who have been very successful at CAML and other ventures. It is his idea to bring back Maslovksy and previous board, and we should support him.

Rakishev will sort out the problems at IRC, he'll get the POX plant completed and the share price will double.

Interesting to see the sharp rises in the share price on Thursday and Friday. The share price has now risen to the conversion price on the convertible bond, which may tell us something.

On 31 May 2018, the Company announced that the Board intended to remove Mr Bektas Mukazhanov as a director of the Company, by serving notice on Mr Mukazhanov in accordance with article 88.7 of the Company's articles of association.

Notice has now been served on Mr Mukazhanov, and Mr Mukazhanov has ceased to be a director of the Company with immediate effect.

Now for the real speculation - if it's Norilsk they could wipe out the loan with a drop from their ocean and add 0.5moz to annual production & 30moz to resources.

We all know POG is under valued because of the 'fun & games' around ownership if it could be sorted out these would be substantially higher. i've held for a long time and will do so until the value is released.
