Nice £20k buy at 2.68p this AM, that's the largest single reported trade for a while.

Buying in at this level looks like a no brainer to me. Lots of opportunity to increase production at low cost and with a higher share in the license than we had previously.

The rising at Petroneft continues with the ASK at showcasing @ 2.70p and 2.698p being paid, live as I type.

Well done, to all holders from lowly days.

Great performance today nice to see increase in production, small illiquid stocks that have fallen the most over years seem to be rerating on good news. I have had wsbn, yu. and now ptr long way to go here.

Worth listening back to the interview with David Sturt speaking about the fracking, the license and even referring to keeping cards close to chest about the former ("we don't want to wait until after production is up") until after the license is completed. From around 5m into it. Onwards and upwards!

Delighted to see this finally moving in the right direction but it really does make you think WTF were the previous management doing. Hopefully Mr McBain carries on the good progress so far.

This is excellent news today and building off the extra 40% license acquisition and appointment of Alastair McBain as Non Executive Chairman. With negotiations out of the way it's full steam ahead now to demonstrate the value of the license. The successful fracking is a great first step towards this. For the first time in a decade the company is finally showing real signs of progress.

These fracks are pretty low cost and thus high ROI when they work like this.

With current debt reaching imo peak, this is prob PTRs last chance of making it a success.

It's literally been paying director salaries and topping up pensions since it creation.

Good luck all...6p is its peak imo based on current debt, bopd expectations and the rats natlata still involved

4p first target gla

On a diluted basis 40mn gbp m cap is 5p. This is less than the cost of the processing facility and infrastructure. This has remained in the desert for years now being looked at with fresh eyes. Sensible management and better perspective in 67 could easily see it producing 5k bbls in a couple of years.

IG only have 250,000 at 2p but some on-line providers are 'at best' on 100k

One suspects there could be a background buyer(s) or the market makers do not want to sell many shares at current levels.

Clearly the price action continues to be positive.

Worth noting that over 50% of the 839m issued share capital is very tightly held, the BOD hold 17% themselves, no wonder the shares are hard to acquire.

That 500k just now was me just averaging down I'm now needing 3.9 to break even got bloody millions of these, think we ( hope ) will be seeing some more corporate action very soon guys.
