They are clearly filling background orders, demand seems high, real offer is now 3.3p, if you can buy lower good luck!

#PTR (3p) listen to this new interview - this is a £100m+ company in the making - current m/cap £30m Https://twitter.com/Oilplayer2009/status/1386946681200160772?s=20

They now want 3.3p for just 150,000 shares, no quote available for smaller size. Can see a very decent move coming.

The £30m m/cap here is plain balmy when you look at the likes of PANR who are not producing a single barrel of oil yet attain a £240m m/cap. Given recent updates & production increases Petroneft should be conservatively valued circa £80m-£100m or around 9p a share. The BOD need to get a research note produced from a reputable city broking house, in the meantime the current price offers a excellent opportunity, assuming they will let you buy.

Cannot buy anything under 3.25p with IG currently - anyone wants in place a limit order, that's a large premium and suggests another decent up move is coming.

Another good day ahead here IMO, the re-rating has only just started.

Worth noting that Russian Domestic Crude Oil prices reached a 18 month high recently - something that has not been mentioned here, this is significantly beneficial to Petroneft, their margins are also enhanced.

At best up to 100k of shares they now want 3.25p for 150,000, a significant premium.

Observer, Got it in one mate, My average is 14p, I've been here that long, don't blame anyone but myself, my choice to invest and my choice not to sell at 70p and all the way down, but previous management have a lot to answer for.

100,000 sitting there at full ask, then it goes higher, larger premium for real size right now. Maybe Zak Mir's 4.3p will be reached sooner than many think.

chris cat It must be very galling to see this new team, brought in by the major shareholder, do what seems obvious, in short time they have increased production, cut costs, improved infrastructure, attained higher oil price margins whilst quietly exploring other options to increase shareholder value. What a turnaround from the last lot that, as you say, spent a small fortune delivering sod all. Hopefully long term holders will recoup their investment money and more.

Tweet from someone who should know... @Caspineft Global oil and gas Exploration Geoscientist with a special interest in Russia and the Caspian. #ptr will be able to increase production in a number of ways this year and next

Observer - I try not think of what might have happened if they had been in charge 10 years, I was very (Objectively) critical on here of the previous management who managed to turn 00s of Millions into £10m, even after they sold half of it and got a big wedge of cash they pi££ed it away and they all rode the gravy train right to the end. I would love to know what exactly has changed, as the current team seem to be making really obvious/easy decisions that the other lot simply couldn't see. I think they once spent millions building a treatment plant or refinery that could process 10s of 000s of barrels a day......before they realised they couldn't get that much out of the ground.

broken_arrow1 Can you keep posting, every time you do the price rises ! Petroneft is simply re-rating to reflect the ever improving operational performance under the new team, for long term holders, can you imagine if this team was in place 10 years ago - where would Petroneft be now. The shares hit 70p ten years ago on expectation, that valued Petroneft at circa £250m at the time, makes a mockery of the current £30m m/cap.

No online quote with a number of providers, IG 'apparently' have 250,000 at 3p then it moves to 3.15p. The underlying price strength is clear.

Looks like 5p+ is coming soon enough just based on operational performance, they could add another 700-1000 bopd by end of this quarter, that alone is a significant increase in revenues if attained, that could take the share price past 10p Even at 5p a share PTR would only be valued at £50m, there are pure explorers valued higher, I am sure if a broker research note were published their target range would be north of 8p a share right now. It's exceptionally hard to get any shares in PTR around current levels, good luck trying !!

Only 100,000 shares at full offer then they want a premium, for size the offer extends to 3.2p. Clearly it's a thin market, still some way off the 3.75p reached in March also.

Passing through the 3p mark should not be difficult and a steady move higher towards 4p as results from all the work done shows through. f

The major shareholder in Petroneft has been around since 2014, they hold 26%, my guess is their average price paid is north of 5p so you can be sure any prospective bid would be well above that price. It does seem they are window dressing the company and have already explored options to sell themselves. I am rather surprised, as part of the process, they have not had a research note completed with a target price or valuation. The last note was years ago, placed a value of £285m on Petroneft albeit things have changed since, it is encouraging they have bought back 40% of Licence 67, once again giving them 90% and own 50% of Licence 61. Concur with others, the market value of Petroneft seems very low, only £28m, but for how much longer?

The bidding window is firmly in the hands of the company. Any bid would IMO be an agreed deal. With such a high percentage of shares tied up no outsider is going to mount an aggressive low bid. The time for a cheeky bid is already past. That doesn't mean the pi's can't get stitched up .

No quote available for sub 100,000 shares, they want 2.9p above that.
