Market has moved up on L2

250,000 available at 1.5p, then 1.55p above to 500,000, they are quoting 1.86p for larger size.

Very useful information, I was reckoning that for every $5 increase in the local price it delivers around $1.85m in increased revenue, that could materially increase when Licence 67 comes online, that number falls directly into the bottom line

As for valuation there are many junior oils on AIM producing less oil but are valued at multiples of Petroneft.

Based on considerably improved market and operational conditions I believe PTR should be valued around £50m, around 5p a share.

Good morning - just a brief post


There has been a incredible rebound in the local oil price from 3567 Roubles a tonne in April 2020 (all time low) to a current, near 6 year high, of 26,807 Roubles a tonne reached in January.

The strong rebound in the local price has not been reflected in the current valuation of Petroneft.

With increasing production and higher oil prices it is clear Petroneft are in a exceptionally strong position.

I have been buying PTR, as others point out it is hard to gather meaningful lines of stock, it is well worth the effort in my considered opinion.

I believe Petroneft shares will be one of the strongest sector performers this year, the re-rating is just beginning.

Nothing available online, they need to raise the offer and allow buyers in.

Great to see the directors get so locked in but remember they are getting 8% on their money so its pretty risk free....apart from it being in Russia and the history of poor performance.

It's very rare for directors to put as much money into a O&G company like they did yesterday, conversion of their $1.5m is realistically 2.5p, no wonder the market does not want to sell you many shares at current levels.

The recent interviews from the CEO were exceptionally upbeat.

Yesterday's loan was one way for directors to get a very meaningful slice of stock in the future without breaching 'insider' rules.

Even at 3p a share Petroneft would only be valued at £25m so there is plenty of upside ahead.

Late next week or the week after would be short-term. TBH, I'd prefer if the news was more spread out (if it's good news - there's never a guarantee with oilies). I know short-term holders want a barrage of good news so they can make their killing, and that's fair enough as it's part of the game, but as a mid to long term holder I'd prefer a more gradual, but solid, share price rise. My breakeven is 2.5p so I know there's others is a far worse situation to me. Best of luck to them too.

No quote available for anything under 100,000 shares, they want 1.5p for small lots.

For larger size it's now 1.82p

Clear where the price is heading.

They implied there will be lots of news in the short term in yesterday's RNS.

Management are very incentivised to deliver shareholder value, a no brainer entry point in a junior oil sector that is returning to fashion.

Hard to believe the last broker note dated 19th April 2011 had a target valuation of £489m, Petroneft is now valued at £13m !

EGM tomorrow at 11am to discuss CREST holders and new set up with Euroclear (as the UK have left the EU there are some changes around share-holding). Nothing else to be discussed.

So, unless they surprise the markets with an RNS before 11am tomorrow I would imagine the real news flow to begin towards the end of next week or early March.

There is 100,00 shares on offer at 1.45p then it goes higher.

They want 1.8p for real size, this is quite illiquid & under radar, these stocks often provide the best gains.

The board are clearly very confident, worth noting the strapline in the recent RNS that there will be 'considerable newsflow' in the near term.

A great opportunity IMO.

The junior oil space is the place to be in 2021, so many companies are bombed out, it's like entering the junior mining space at the bottom of the long bear market.

Petroneft once had a valuation of over £250m, now £13m but retains the same licences and infrastructure, it's a no brainer entry point.

The new management have delivered and will continue to do so.

Dirt cheap, good luck trying to buy in any size at current levels !!

Premiums now being asked for small quantities of shares with IG

Only 100,00 left at 1.4p, then they want 1.5p for 500,000 and 1.76p for over 1m

Bought back in yesterday, bought recently at 1.15p and sold at 1.7p, thank you, I see the next move above 2p.

Called it spot on last time, no doubt in my mind the trend is up.

What's not to like...

BOD and associated parties putting in nearly $2m convertible at 2.5p
Increasing production
Year round production on Licence 67 imminent
On target to produce over 2000+ bopd
Higher oil prices
Lots of news imminent


Also over 50% of the shares are held the BOD and a major investor.

Market cap a mere £12.5m ????

Time to get into the junior oil space, no better choice then PTR, still only £12m m/cap, production up and revenues up, totally under radar and missed by many,

The new CEO has put his money where his mouth is by putting in $300,000 of his own cash via a CLN convertible at 2p or 2.5p

Collectively Petroneft related parties have put in circa $1.5m out of the $2.9m convertible loan, all convertible at 2p or 2.5p

There is no doubt they believe the share price will increase significantly in due course !

Oil going great guns, Petroneft will have a good day tomorrow, great opportunity for traders and new investors to get back in, shares fallen from 1.85p on Monday.

Lots of shares to be issued at a future date but if producing 2000boe,d it wont better as cash will be flying in. A share consolidation would be nice 1\100. This and bres top micro caps for 2021?
