ravin - my guess is closer to 8 weeks +/- to include results of the Sibkrayevskoye 373 well which was to be spudded some time in Feb.

Ops update should also include confirmation Arbuzovskoye 104 has been brought into production and results of the A-107 which commenced shortly before the last update together with a production update.

Tungolskoye development drilling to commence in April, so not expecting anything imminent, but confirmation of commencement could also be included.

Crudde not sure what elite can tell you his last update on ptr. No debt, farmout partner who is a big player, recent rns have been satisfactory/small surprise- but without longevity of the number of bopd can't really extrapolate that revenue. Russia is f up, ruble collapse/oil collapse is supposedly hedged, we are waiting for news as usual, this company is usually late...in the background the big cheese have exchanged shares. Main point is...production has increased. If you are expecting this to be double digits in the short term, you are better of at the casino!

re. Ptr... We haven't heard from el1te trader in a while. It would be good to find out what his current views on the co. are at the moment, especially with the price of crude at a multi year low and with no sign of that negative trend in oil about to change any time soon..!! Phone home E li T e...

Afren have taken an absolute hammering. It's sucked a lot of investor cash into it's vortex the last few months. I wasn't going to go near it myself but was secretly hoping that a successful outcome there might have given some a refreshed appetite for small cap type oileys.

no one is selling , market makers trying to create business nothing more.
A few buys and this will be back trading closer to 5p
this is rather an illuquid stock sells or buys make wild swings. no retail action has left GI Oversea and Natlata in no rush
i probably will top up again if it drifts lower still, follow the money and invariably you almost always win

Down approx 4% so far today on little or no trading activity. Perhaps the recent sell off re. oil again is not helping our situation. I feel that if any half decent bid materialised for Ptr the long suffering shareholders would grab on to it with both hands and count their blessings indeed...

Not sure about your last comments/quote. As that has not excited new investors here since sept- post Russian currency fall. This is a very sticky share, small comp with small amount of large holders. Hence recent exchange influenced the share price Very little interest in comp and lack of any press coverage besides, Irish papers on rns days. Shame. But it is what it is and no need to paint a rosy picture for new investors.Drill bit will do the talking here... Until interest arrives again after soo many years of stagnant share price and dilution, amongst strangling debt levels and no progress. 2015 certainly looks better, but doesn't mean double digit share price gla

I think 'we are being paid from Oil ltd in Dollars and we are spending in Rubles - & our drill BIT is still sharp' will be enough to excite a few here.
