ravin - this is the most recent presentation - 2/12/14 - so probably as up to date as can be reasonably expected.

As far as brokers' notes are concerned - generally these are restricted to II's and brokers have tightened up on allowing publication to the great unwashed, (us). I know this from talking to a couple of other companies. Davy's website is pretty much locked down.

Looking back ptr's PR hasn't been the best something that they need to improve on suppose.Probably difficult in the past with the dwindling share price . But sometimes I question the likes of malcys blog mindlessly pumping obviously paid for research. This type of coverage can be spotted a mile away. Then they hit you with dilution ,placing ect ectThe best PR is positive RNS for me.

Still must be, or we would have got an rns by now...I'd like to see the company release a company presentation on the website and possible (INDEPENDENT) broker update...surprised this has not already happened based on the current assets and potential...maybe after the upcoming reserves update we will have a re-rate. Sticking to my medium term 7p target, not bothered if it shares exchange battle related or good results.

Are Ceres still heavily invested? If not, maybe they provided some of those purchased shares.

Odd, where did the shares come from...Macquarie bank offloaded last year, i assume overseas...picked those up or did they get that batch from elsewhere and this is Macquary's old shares being exchanged...anyways...exchanges are going on and continuing by the looks of it...

I saw that one. But the last one before that was over a year ago. I've had a scan of the AIM rules regarding disclosure and significant holders must notify the market when their holding changes. What I don't see is a time frame within which the Significant Holder must disclose their change of holding. I'm led to believe that only when they have finished accumulating or offloading that they must disclose. So I'm assuming the accumulation happened over many months going by the gap between RNSs. As I said though, I'm open to correction here.

What is significant is that both parties have disclosed their increased holdings very close to each other, which adds to the speculation that they are in some agreement with each other.

Where else could the shares have been accumulated where the transaction would not have to be disclosed if not in the market?

Dubh - see the RNS on feb 27th re. Natlata adding circa 36m shares

I was only really looking at General Invest. As far as I can see there hasn't been a holdings update by Natlata since January 2014 (I'm open to correction here).

Would that not have been enough time to accumulate 120m shares between them?

Dubh... there were over 95 million share picked up between them, those share had to be sold by someone and bought by them so 190 million shares should show as being traded in the trades list..

Then there's spikes of 4m, 8.5m, 4m and 4.5m since the start of the year in London. That's 27m total. Using only the large volume spikes. That's 4% of the issued shares. Gen Invest are up over 6% since last September. I havn't tracked the volume back that far but it looks doable to me.

I know notifications of holdings changes don't need to be alerted immediately either as I've experienced with another share recently, but can't recall what the time limit is to notify the market.

@Dbarron: Did you look at the Irish listing. I must admit I don't follow it much myself but hopefully this link works:

If not. There is a spike in volume of over 6,000,000 on February 13th (a Friday).

One possibility is that shorters are borrowing shares and these are feeding the market. This would explain where the shares have come from and also why the buying has not vastly changed the price. It would also explain why there have been no sale of shares notices either.

Db - good point in regards to where those shares came from. We haven't seen the equivalent of 200m (buy/sell) reported so I would have thought there should be holding notice(s) for those that sold imo.

Well shouldn't/ or at what point the company release a statement, that they are not aware why the share price has (relatively)jumped C.30%...will be surprised if they don't mention in the the upcoming RNS.

gd weekend

Ravin... I agree, We all have a fair idea of the potential here and we are considerably undervalued on that potential.
Probably even undervalued without it.

My question is, where did the shares come from ?, cant see them being bought on the market.
And also what are their intentions ?
Is one trying to block the other or is one of them going to bid ?

imo, this is simply one-two three buyers coming in/out...results have been out there for a while along with the potential. undervalued of course, lack of interest retail and institutional ...yes...now could just be one buyer but at least interest (even though at bargain level).

gla, look like its taking a breather today...slight gap i see in teh candles chart...may return there imo

As there are potentially two buyers (maybe, effectively just one?) the MMs are taking quite a risk 'dribbling the share price down' this morning...I wonder what the thinking is, inside the PTR board today?

Db - fair enough, can't argue with that 😄 You have yourself a good broker as he managed to get a good price for a large sell. Wish TDW were that good 😄

The crucial thing is the result of the Sib drill in terms of flow rate and net pay. If it comes in over the odds, production and reserves could get a big boost.

Well folks the BB has attracted a few new names recently and we have a buyer out there who has bid up the share price The next RNS should keep the interest in the stock and I hope mark the start of a steady rerating.Still no BOD buying so maybe they are getting their bags packed.VGLTA
