One thing I do know for sure is I would rather be invested in ptr even though it is in Russia than Gkp which I feel is seriously in danger of losing all of its reserves I feel most investors would agree IMHO

SteelWe all know very little facts as our BOD keeps any real news under wraps.Heard rumours of delays on T5 -this will turn out to be true or false only when we finally get news.Nice to see so much support for the company in this quiet period.GLTA

Dbharron what's your view on expectations for t-5? As clearly no one knows? Not forgetting there is oil still pumping at other wells which must stay flat at least...

Not long until the AGM on 29 August. PTR prefers periodic general updates and we'll get one then.

You'd think in a 'new farm-out partner, money to spend, potentially large resources waiting to be drilled, turning over a new leaf' kinda way PTR would trickle out SOME snippets of info.C'on PTR or is it CPR?

sean - as you rightly say, you know nothing, least of all culture, or who is on holiday. Kindly desist, both here and elsewhere.

Don't forget that PTR are still the operator, so all the timings and decisions are down to them, not the new partner.

RabinAs of now we know nothing not even if T5 has even started.I suppose it is holiday time and the BOD need time off after such a hard and relatively unsuccessful year. The old PTR culture has really been embraced by the new entity - apparently!GLTA

So do we have any expectations of how much oil could flow? Are we still looking at 150-350 bopd? ...which we were used to get at previous wells? Or are we expected to be happy with, now considering this is horizontal drilling, now farmed out to large oil company with experience? What does the market want? As we could end up with a average result which the market won't no what to do!

Knowing my bad look their first horizontal well effort will probably come in good. I guess that if your not in you cant win, or loose. May well end up paying more per share in the end but what the hell....

Yeh crude if t-5 is really gd, may reach double figures, which hasn't been seen in a long time. But not surprised to see new investors with that attitude as the next well result will be the game changer up or down. Any old investor would like to swap with the position you are in, it's been devaluation non stop with no results. Ps I'm still waiting for an Rns for a small investor taking a small chunk off Macquarie's sell of..

Well crudd It seems like just you and me here.T5 should not be a duster the intrrest will be how the horizontal drill performs. If it flows well its a gamechanger for PTRWhen T5 is complete and if it flows well you will find it hard to buy in at these levelsGLTA

Well was going to dip my toe in here, but i think i will wait for a T5 update cause if it is a duster, well anything could happen...Throw of a dice really. Would rather pay more per share and have more clarity.. Later..

So verrrrrrry quite......!!!!! I wonder if T5 is been drilled presently as no one seems to know..? Ooooh.... and if it is and T5 is a success could that news be a catalyst for a ( dare i say) re rating of any worthwhile signifance..? Ta..
