30/7/2014 20:46 | Oil India do not have the skills that our BOD have shown in crafting an RNSLets hope PD & co get lessons in success from IOC as they surely need itGLTA | seangwhite
30/7/2014 17:36 | Thanks Don for that..it is reassuring to see Oil's history of success and plan to cover more regions other than India...just looking at their expertise it is a shame that they were not the operator too lol...just saw their exploration page with their 2d-3d testing etc and their, quote '65%' success rate...I wonder if they have done this behind closed doors already? All in all, good to see some info on Oil, as we didn't see anything nor their views, in the RNS's from PTR | ravin146
30/7/2014 10:33 | the link: PTR is Oil India's first JV. from the list, it seems Oil India likes JV way to keep it's producing assets, not own all of them, so the T/O chance is low? | don777
30/7/2014 10:04 | There is a small summary on Oil India JV page regarding PTR. | spudders
30/7/2014 07:11 | HayPTR will not be helped by the current issues in Russia but I dont expect sanctions to have a great effect. The 'technology' to be used by Sclumberger is as much IP as physical and is already in Russia. The company sells its output in the local market so is not reliant on overseas banking etc.Anyway I think the share price will drift until news on T5 comes in.GLTA - lets see where AEY goes from here! | seangwhite
30/7/2014 06:50 | Its not good for Ptr,I'd rather be on the fence here for the foreseeable future | hayfield
29/7/2014 21:19 | eu and usa introduced sanctions banning among a few other things import of western technology for oil drilling to russia. I wonder how will this affect PTR. | vyke82
29/7/2014 16:43 | AEY looks identical to this stock...this needs a miracle or hopefully Oil India have done their homework..would they want to throw money down the drain don't think so...patience until the next update and we'll have some idea! | ravin146
29/7/2014 14:07 | Looks like everyone is over on the AEY board today. I hope we have a day such as theirs but sadly I doubt it will come about without someone wanting to take PTR over. Come on Natlata - you know it makes sense. GLTA | seangwhite
28/7/2014 11:38 | I think fewer and fewer people will want to get involved in Russia. | rcturner2
28/7/2014 11:17 | Toon I also have a few of these and would love Natlata to make a move as it is the only way in thenear term I can see the share price moving higher. The BOD have managed to effectively discount the asset to under $1 per BOE and we are know to believe that they will sort the assets out with the knowledge gained by going through so much capital. If T5 comes good I cannot see this as anything but a take over target for someone with bigger and better long term plans. GLTA | seangwhite
28/7/2014 10:46 | Denis you keep posting if you want I have a bloody shedload of these and I want to see all views including your own Dennis & Dbarr0n as well. | thetoonarmy2
28/7/2014 08:12 | Looks like we will miss July for the long planned T5 spud not a good start for the 'new' PTR. I wonder if Natlata will stay silent or are they just sending the odd email to DF and PD to gee them up - or might they even be quietly meeting up for drinks and canapes in some secluded spot!! GLTA | seangwhite
28/7/2014 07:41 | The toon, agree with you there. It was just here to fund a loan, and the shares they had basically acted as as percentage of collateral amongst other assets. I just hope Oil India have this ship in under control now! | ravin146
28/7/2014 03:25 | Macq Bank sold purely because they usually do when they no no longer provide funding. Still though it doesn't excuse the BOW that we have, need to vote them out come the AGM. | thetoonarmy2
27/7/2014 23:41 | Said Id have a lot less come a certain monday.... Never said NONE...??? Read the post properly..!!! Sooooo why did the bank sell.......?? They probably see better returns loaning out the dosh at approx 10%.... Have you a better explaination for the dump......??? Drivel my ass....!! | denis black gold
27/7/2014 22:17 | Denis.. if youve sold why keep posting? Theres nothing wrong with balanced and critical posts.. but you just keep posting negative drivel. And now what.. youre insinuating maq sold cos they were privy to some bad news? Just sounds like youre bitter and couldnt stand for the share price to improve.. so youre trying to convince yourself and others that ptr is a poor investment. Why not move on...or at least come up with more reasoned posts.. | sif12
27/7/2014 19:45 | Yep..... still a shocker that Macq dumped ...... Macq obviously saw better opportunities than PTR to invest there money...!!!! I don't know why any investment bank would walk away from a SUPPOSED great value opportunity.... It really makes no sense to me...!!!!! Unless they have info that the rest of us dont...????? | denis black gold
27/7/2014 18:01 | So you would have thought after the delayed farmout agreement, we would have gained some value but any increase has been wiped out by the cheap re-sale of the maquarie stake. Nothing is a simple story with this company and boy is the next update crucial or we may have other large holders walk away. Hopefully the management realise that regular clear updates is what we need now and t-5 initial results are due now...I still expect delays but maybe they'll suprise me. Gla | ravin146
26/7/2014 01:45 | Let's hope we stay under the radar for nowGLTA | seangwhite
25/7/2014 11:34 | True, although the article does make reference to european companies in general. | rcturner2 |
