24/6/2014 07:18 | Thank goodness the report and accounts is a statutory requirement whereby they must be filed by Monday 30th June, so at least the board must -whether they like it or not- update long suffering shareholders. No doubt they will thank us for our patience once again! | blues70
24/6/2014 07:14 | Well Spudders it looks like the Natlata threat has not made our BOD change its modus operandi!Let's hope the next RNS is a bit more than the regulatory sign off and farm in completion, news on drilling is what is needed to get this share out of the doldrums.GLTA | ![]() seangwhite
23/6/2014 19:03 | Cp, I emailed PD on Friday and have not had a response yet, tbh I'm not expecting one. I told him that the lack of approval update was pretty p#ss poor (not exact words). I'm so used to the poor communication from management over the past 7 years :( anyhow Kentz came good today so I will cut PTR some slack. | ![]() spudders
23/6/2014 15:55 | Dbarr0n 16 Jun'14 - 00:22 - 26040 of 26056 0 0 Ravin ... This is what was said in the presentation.. Regulatory approvals expected around end-May/early June. Also. It is expected that drilling will recommence in July 2014. So its highly possible that we could get some news this week.. have you any update for us ? | ![]() currypasty
20/6/2014 11:22 | The BOD have not covered themselves in glory but they do at least have a fair stake (DF mainly) also they have not been ripping cash out in salaries for failure like Big Brian at PCI. The lessons of the past whereby they ran out of money have undoubtadly been well and truelly learnt. The new programme of operations look sensible in money and targets and we can only await the results from the drillbit. If it goes anywhere near achieving the 7500 bopd bonus target the share price will be multiples of the present 6p-ish. GLTA | ![]() seangwhite
20/6/2014 09:45 | Yes seangwhite this is Russia after all and "nothing" should ever be taken as a done deal..!!! The promise of "jam tomorrow" will never work for PTR again, as to many investors badly burnt in the past and still no director fell on their sword as a result of the MASSIVE destruction of shareholder value...!!!! New money but same old tried and failed b.o.d. Board room changes are are very much needed here to boost investor confidence. GLA | denis black gold
20/6/2014 09:40 | Agreed. It's all about the drillbit from now on. Corporate governance / activity is going to excite anyone. | ![]() woodpecker25
19/6/2014 18:50 | The news when it finally comes should be that the deal is completed and regulatory approval achieved. The share price will need more than this to move up and hopefully this will come with drilling results.GLTA | ![]() seangwhite
19/6/2014 13:30 | Come on BOD are you waiting for Christmas for Rns ? Please be friendly with shareholders . We need to know what's going on after EGM .... | jyoti1
19/6/2014 07:47 | @steelwatch...oh ok. Do you feel that will show anything significant? | ![]() ravin146
19/6/2014 04:53 | ravin - Annual Report, aka Results, to 31 December required by 30 June. | steelwatch
18/6/2014 21:54 | @steelwatch can you source where you find that results are due in two weeks? The management are lucky this is not down to them, but going forward regular well updates will not just be welcomed but required, after the history it has.Gla patience is required. It would be nice to hear from oil India soon too! | ![]() ravin146
18/6/2014 10:20 | On the positive side, market is not looking forward far enough. Its a no brainer for me when funds permit. I'm the man with one eye in the land of the blind ;) | ![]() spudders
18/6/2014 10:11 | This company will really test your patience once approval comes I think everyone will start to relax after that it's all down to well results | telegraph1
18/6/2014 10:04 | Well it is a just a matter of a month or so before there will be a flow of news.Hope that the drill results will lift all our spirits and the SP, there is a lot of interest and expected of the horizontal one.GLTA - remember 'patience is a virtue' | ![]() seangwhite
17/6/2014 23:22 | YAAAAAWWWWWNNNNNNNN. | denis black gold
17/6/2014 17:05 | man1 - I'm sure they'll tell us something when there is something to tell. Results are due within the next 2 weeks. | steelwatch
17/6/2014 16:44 | Well now that the BOD have what they want , it's back to treating the small PI as if they don't exist . The sooner we have some board changes the better . | ![]() man1
16/6/2014 09:57 | Might get myself a little top up today. Others will wake up once approval is done and dusted. It will be interesting to see if any directors add to their existing holdings once we are debt free. Keep the faith ;) | ![]() spudders
16/6/2014 00:56 | Hi DbarrOn, I asked the Board at the EGM in May if there was any likelihood of the regulatory approval being an issue and they suggested that it was merely form filling and they were totally unconcerned about it being problematic - merely administrative. 14/6/2014 19:53 | @dbharr0n...fair play, it's not managements' fault hence I'll give them the benefit of doubt. But updates are needed and why on earth would you put dates down in a presentation or rns, they should have just said expected in quarter 2 or soon.@rc...you don't have any holding here am I right? Most importantly things are a bit rosier than that atm it would be silly to sell in this regionGl2a | ![]() ravin146
14/6/2014 19:09 | Part of the story here is that when Irish investors were making funny money on their geared property plays they were buying stocks like this as if they were all millionaires like warren buffet. Sadly once the chickens came home to roost it was a scramble to sell as quick as possible to cover margin plays on property. Sadly those days have gone and won't ever return. | ![]() rcturner2
13/6/2014 20:26 | Im still a holder here, albeit a lesser holding than i used to own during 2013... Given the current state of the share price you would have to wonder how PTRs share price ever reached the dizzy heights it did a few years ago...!!!! No great re.rating on the concluded farm out, nor the e.g.m victory. So one can conclude it will also take a lot more than an "expected" official rubber stamp to give a badly needed lift to the share price .. Perhaps time "and lots of it" coupled with a successful and vigorous drilling program will help.... GL2A | denis black gold |
