08/5/2014 16:34 | The drill bit will obviously play its part, but changes in the Boardroom are essential if we are to ever get the feel good factor back! | woodpecker25
08/5/2014 15:08 | Good luck to you RCT. Meanwhile, subject to tomorrow's showdown, we move on. | steelwatch
08/5/2014 14:41 | steel, they had to refinance, everyone knows that. It was either farmout, placing or new loan. A farmout at under $1 a barrel was the best deal apparently. It wasn't good enough for me, so I sold. Each to their own. | rcturner2
08/5/2014 14:37 | RCT - but there was zero potential sans funding. Now, subject to the EGMs, there is, at least, a future. | steelwatch
08/5/2014 14:24 | All well thanks telegraph. If the Ukraine situation calms down and the drill bit gets good results this will be ok. However there just isn't the potential here anymore that there once was now they have thrown the towel in and sold half the license so cheaply. | rcturner2
08/5/2014 14:19 | Maybe RCT was wise to sell out hope your keeping well rc | telegraph1
08/5/2014 13:55 | Yep, the share price really is DEAD in the water. I guess when investors have been as badly burned as PTRs have been over the years they and others will be extremely reluctant to give the Co. and potentially the same BOD yet another chance with even more of their hard earned money..!!!! Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on ME....!!!! OIL will "if the deal is voted through" need to be seen to have a MAJOR SAY in the every day decision making on L61 from now on or there isn't much hope going forward.... GL2A to all in Dublin tomorrow. | denis black gold
08/5/2014 13:21 | The share price is as depressed as a Red scousers Premiership ambitions. All excitement one minute and then bang. I hope we wont have to wait the 25 years. Even Natlata seem to have lost the will to live. | denis05656
08/5/2014 12:56 | anyone going to the egm | currypasty
08/5/2014 11:23 | Can any of our own bod buy more shares now or do they have to wait until after the egm | telegraph1
07/5/2014 22:53 | i hope to be there on friday will post anything interesting but i can't see any state secrets being shared - //??? when will natlata start dumping their share holding, thats is my concern as i assume they will be defeated - i want to try and corner one of their representatives if possible.??? | bloodinthestreet2
07/5/2014 22:37 | maybe oil could buy the natlata stake then a shareholder and a partner | trawl
07/5/2014 16:39 | I have waisted lots of my time during Easter holiday dreaming about share price spike. wish , I can have Easter off again....this year. No more time waste just checking once in a day ......at 4:30pm .lucky me I have average of 6p any rise is bonus .....sorry those bought at 30p wait for at least another 2years to get money back ..... | jyoti1
07/5/2014 16:04 | Db I know about the Arb drilling but that is vertical and will have flows inline with what we have seen in the past. The horizontal well No5 is new for PTR and the flow rates if good would transform the way the field is developed. The cost benefit of drilling less wells and the ability to extract more oil would raise the outlook for PTR in a big way. GLTA | seangwhite
07/5/2014 13:25 | Denis Just what I said , quiet , not many trades to suggest everyone is waiting to see what happens Friday . No real rampers / de rampers . Is it the lull before the storm ? N which way is it heading !!!! | man1
07/5/2014 11:54 | sean, They will be drilling a few more production wells on Arbuzovskoye first, everything is in place and ready to go. | dbarr0n
07/5/2014 11:52 | There is not much to talk about till the EGMs are out of the way. Hopefully we will have plenty to talk about afterwards presuming the vote is in favor of the farmout and against Natlatas proposals. | dbarr0n
07/5/2014 11:50 | The EGM votes should go the way of the BOD on Friday. The next event should be the drilling result from Well 5 on the Tungolskoye part of License 61.This is the first try at horizontal drilling by PTR on 61. If this works it could lead to a complete revaluation of PTR both from the P2 reserves aspect and the fundamentals of its business model as cashflow and profitability etc. I for one hope this comes good as it could make for a good Xmas - not saying which year though! GLTA | seangwhite
07/5/2014 11:32 | man1...re. its too quiet here..!! What exactly do you mean..??? Ta... | denis black gold
07/5/2014 10:01 | It's too quiet here . | man1
07/5/2014 08:31 | If the vote swings the bods way we should see a bounce in the share price wishing good luck to all long term holders | telegraph1
06/5/2014 18:54 | roykeane2. Production is steady. 3rd December 2013: total production 2,300 bopd. 16th January 2014: total production above 2,300 bopd. 17th March 2014: total production 2,400 bopd. | dbarr0n
06/5/2014 14:44 | is production falling,steady or rising these days???? | roykeane2
06/5/2014 14:19 | Eric partially agree with your thoughts but proof is in the pudding. Show me the oil coming out of the ground and production increasing and then i Will be happy that the past issues are behind us. | rich2006
06/5/2014 13:06 | I like most here would like PTR to finally come good.I have commented on the BODs lack of success and moaned about the painfully convuluted RNS's of the past few years. I want the company now just to get on with drilling and hopefully increasing the oil output, in doing this the share price will hopefully rise to give a decent valuation on the assets. My target is over 10p by the year end, then the old rising graph can take it higher next year. GLTA | seangwhite |
