IT's just a pity that OIL INDIA didn't bid for the entire Co and put an end to all of this uncertainty...!!! WHY were they content with just 50% of L61 when "perhaps" they could have had the LOT for what would amount to mere small change to them..??? WHY would they want a partner like PTR at all, especially one in open conflict with a major "fly in the ointment" disident shareholder..???? If NAT get some nominees elected to the board, WILL OIL INDIA WALK AWAY FROM DEAL WITH PTR..????

As a major holder ????????? Its loke bloody turkeys voting for christmas on here. Whatever about issues holders have with the BOD its absolutely nonsensical to vote in a Putin crony to take over this company on the cheap. Dont be fooled by the fancy PR spin that Natlata unleash. its like the kremlin of old and their propaganda.

If a turkey is willing to vote for christmas then it deserves to be plucked and stuffed.

Does anybody else find it really ironic that the BOD have communicated appalling for a number of years with vague RNS's etc usually late and now they are sending letters or communications almost daily to rally support for the Farm out. I have returned my vote with a mixture of yes and no votes for the resolutions but I have rejected the reappointment of PD and DF. I would like the farm out to go ahead but I also want them to know that I am not happy with their performance. If it doesn't go ahead then so be it. Unfortunately they have eroded my investment so much that won't change my life too much if the share price tanked even more.

dbarron your begining to sound like a PR mouth piece for the company, thought you were a bit more balanced !! as for this lot who entirly on their own have overseen the destruction in the share price of this company over the past few years - no more politics of excuses please - they have presided over this mess -
we all know OIL is the better optiion - but the board need to take a good hard look at what the have presided over - - fortuitously OIL arrived just in the nick of time - or we were all f...ed - the current board had loads of time , money and more that enough patiences from investors here - can't wait for next friday

Davy brokers made contact with all PTR holders "including little old me" in its nominee accounts today saying they will use all nominee holdings to support PTRs current BOD recommendations unless instructed not to do so by 3pm tomorrow..... So they can use mine freely...!!!!

Wexboy valuation is well researched at the time. Using his system it comes out at 30p now without any upside pitential

wexboy did not expect an upfront cash payment
he also expected a 187mil share issue
ptr have an upfront payment and only issued a third of the amount he expected
his valuation of 53p was optimistic
the only thing holding this back is natlata
the management opened the door by allowing this to drag on to long

Still the 250k buy falls well short of the sells on the day...!!!! Seems that this stock only trades in one direction...Perhaps investors are fearful of buying PTR prior to the egm vote in May...???
