Surprise, is the only thing that will move this price...promising to double production by year end has done f all to the stock. Progress is being made, but not in shareholder value due to the lack of interest in this stock. Management have so far fixed up to be fair. But that doesn't mean a share price to increase. Next rns is very important. Will the momentum continue or peter out?!

crude - not talking about years. Just about since ops restarted. Nothing really behind schedule so far, so results from current ops are largely only just started as far as Tung and Sib. Surely even you can see that.

steelwatch..... expressing frustration a "wee bit" early.... OH come on now..!!! This oiler has been bobbing along the murky bottom with other pond life rather a long time now and I feel that anyone who has not felt a little frustrated over the last few years must be made of stone, or perhaps is not been totally honest re. there views. We always seem to be looking forward and praying for better days ahead. Will we ever be able to look back and feel a sense of satisfaction and triumph...???

sean - PTR could be the better value option given results from Sib 373, seismics and 11 well Tung development + State reserves classification of Licence 67 discoveries. It seems some are expressing frustration a wee bit early as nothing currently in progress or scheduled is running late, is it? Could also see a wee Brucie bonus from the L-10 horizontal well , also planned to commence in May.

Let's see how things are looking sp-wise come the AGM .

sean, somwhow i doubt they will offer us anything above the current share price and if rejected they are entitled to keep adding and simply get control

DF has been here a long time and holds a fair chunk of shares so has motivation to get the share price higher. It is apparent that the board as a whole are afraid of Natlata for obvious reasons of job security.
I for one would welcome a bid at over 8p from any entity as there are better value options out there.

management are like an aging civil servants dept. They are lacking in dynamic energy but they do offer a steady hand and a bit of wisdom. Perhaps the introduction of a youthful operations director would be a boon to this sleepy firm. Dennis Francis OIL Barrel presentation was like a man bored to death of his company. The annual reports are drab and lacking information . Older data is quite helpful.

High impact in terms of continuous drill programme for 2015 , putting the drill in the ground to double production, I would say it was high impact in terms of the market cap transformation. Not many aim small cap oilers drilling as much as Ptr.Suppose it easy to critique others posts rather than anything of value yourself. It's got perky in the last hour with some chunky buys

Well it looks like next week for any update and I have to agree there is no real 'high impact drilling' just a number of small incremental drills which should lead to a slow and hopefully steady rise in output.

Any reserves upgrade will not have any real effect on the share price as PTR have shown over the years a sad record of failing in their ability to deliver cash from its P2 reserves.

The next real news will be when some of the longer horizontal wells get completed and we can see the actual outpuut from them.

Sib 373 was expected to complete late this month, so possibly news based around that and Arb next week or so.

Ravin, just looking back the other day at the last RNS (or the Ptr website - can't remember) but I think we'll have an RNS about the spudded well this month which means either tomorrow or next week. Maybe they'll stun us and be on time!

I think anyone entering at these levels will do well . Some will get frustrated by lack of news and share price movement. But for me it's a sure fire winner. So sit back relax as downside is limited but blue sky upside .Under valued ,debt free and high impact drill program

Rockin robin...only if PTR was ahead the curve and did the same a few years back! That would eradicate my worry that directors were not buying, even if it was tiny amounts.

Decent post kev. Only thing management can do is follow that plan they set out, excluding external factors.

But that does not mean that the market will increase shareholder value...market has suppressed this share price as well as management to be fair, but management have fixed up recently based on the RNS post-farmout.

This from stagnant Russian oiler UEN today.. Press Release 23 April 2015 Urals Energy PCL("Urals Energy" or the "Company")EGM StatementUrals Energy PCL (AIM:UEN), the independent exploration and production company with operations in Russia, is pleased to make the following statement ahead of the Company's Extraordinary General Meeting that is being held in Cyprus at 9 a.m. (BST) today. As stated previously, the Board of Urals Energy believes that the Company's current share price range does not fairly represent the value of the Company for the following reasons: -- the Company has resolved the legacy litigation issues and has the support of its major shareholders; -- the Company has largely been compensated for the recent fall in oil price by the reduction in the rouble exchange rate and the Company is able to trade normally in the Russian economy; -- as previously announced the Company's work over programme at Articneft has been successful and is proceeding in accordance with the Board's schedule. Once the oil price recovers further, the Board has plans for a significant programme to develop the Company's proven underdeveloped reserves at Articneft; -- at Petrosakh, the Company has resolved the immediate problems at the refinery and will soon have a replacement control system. On Well #112, as previously announced, the Company had technical problems and are deviating the well, but having to proceed slowly to reduce the risk of further technical issues, and will announce results as soon as they become available; -- the Company is debt free; -- the Company expects to make its annual shipment from Articneft in August 2015, two months ahead of last year, which the Board believes will reduce the weather risks that the Company has faced in previous years; -- the Board has, and continues to, consider a number of potential acquisition opportunities, but is only prepared to pay what the Board considers to be fair premiums for assets. The Board still believes that opportunities for suitable acquisitions will emerge in Russia, given the current market conditions; and -- the Board remains confident that Urals Energy can continue to manage its business successfully and expand the Company as opportunities allow. -

Bang on Kev good post....Mm's don't have to report trades until any buy/sell order has been completed. As the price is unchanged I often wonder why mm's would drop or raise the price to attract business. Looking to top up if I get a chance below 4p again, no rush ....
