The SIB 373 drill is due to reach TD later on this month so expect a few weeks of a wait for any RNS.They may also release seismic news sometime soon.GLTA

I'm sure investors are looking at their portfolios and booking losses/ gains before end of year, this will not help the share price in the short term. Let's hope the Sib 373 results are released early next month as there maybe some spare cash on the sidelines ready to invest here. I have concerns that we might be a target this year which could cause management an unwanted distraction from the programme of works, I hope this does not occur but we have some large II holdings who may stir things up. Best of luck all 😃

Who knows, what's going to happen...but 'surprised that after, 6 months of falling oil prices, this scenario hasn't prompted more interested in battered oil stocks.

As I said rct, that trade may work again. This imo will drift back to 3.8p level. It is a news hungry stock.

The time I phoned, mid morning, he answered personally. Just depends on whether he is actually there or, say, on a plane or in a meeting.

can I ask the board.
1 what is the quality of our oil like. Brent or light WTi ? anyone know.
2. what is the base cost of producing oil per barrel. In other words what is it costing us to produce each barrel for market. and also how much will it drop as production increases. any figures anyone. I know its in the annual reports somewhere but its also so in-depth.
3 same question phased a bit different. How much are we getting per barrel at the moment, and what is the estimated profit achievable this year and next.
does anyone fancy a stab at these answers/
Do you think PTR CFO would give me an estimate if I asked him?

plus
cost of transporting the oil is in rubles
Cost of supplies in Rubles
Cost of staff in Rubles
huge saving there.
plus
new wells in 2016
new seismic results due.
the entire northern part of the license about to come into play.
Profits ?
I have not ran projected accounts here but very quickly ….
assume we can make $10 a barrel clear profit.
2000 x 365 days @ $10 a barrel = $7,300,000 nett profit.
in 2015 we should average nett to us 1500 bopd = $5,475,000 meet profit.
lets assume for positivity sake that the northern lands come good and increase the total production to 7,000 bopd. Hardly unrealistic .
3500 attributable to us.
3500 x 365 x $10nett profit per barrel.= $12,775,000 a year nett profit solely for PTR.
Remember we are on a free carry for the first $45million spent.
