28/2/2015 11:17 | Also, Russian State Approval of any reserves calculation is required. That calculation was being finalised for submission in December. | steelwatch
28/2/2015 01:44 | Thanks Db for the infoIf BOD have data on 67 which is known to bear on valuation why is it not released. It makes no sense so say the BOD cannot buy because of this known data and at the same time withhold itVGLTA | seangwhite
27/2/2015 21:33 | As for the directors buying, I dont think that can happen until the have at least released the updated reserve report for licence 67 as they would be privy to the 3D seismic results since last December. | dbarr0n
27/2/2015 21:10 | oilrite.. As of 12/06/14 Natlata held 104,101,536 shares 14.75% of the issued share capital so an increase of 35,518,269. Sean.. Natlata are after one thing and one thing only, A PROFIT, and I don't think they care much about how they get it. They tried to get on the board before the farm out deal was done, as it turns out now Shareholders done the right thing in not voting in favor of them even if their intentions were honorable where would we be now ?. Their plan would have been a f%*K up. I doubt that Natlata will have any interest in gaining control now that Oil India are partners as I don't think Oil India would put up with them. As for what the management think about the increase in Natlatas holdings, Who knows ? and I doubt they would tell anyone what they think about it. | dbarr0n
27/2/2015 20:43 | i think natlata bought a lot cheaper than this were we not as low as 2p at one stage | trawl
27/2/2015 20:29 | If Natlata see value in PTRs lowly share price it makes the BOD look like snake oil salesmen - happy to praise the product when selling but never actually buying it.Come on PD step up to the counter and buy a few.Wee Tom cannot really buy here when over at PCI he and BB are under immense pressure from WV for a very similar long term underperformance.VGL | seangwhite
27/2/2015 19:55 | Can you imagine where this share price would be only for Nat's occasional buying spree...??? Good luck to them at least they are buying in the current market unlike our own board. spudders is so correct in his above point. | crudde99
27/2/2015 18:09 | Makes sense now all those chunky trades, someone sold natlata bought...they are averaging down too lol | ravin146
27/2/2015 18:02 | Only Director BUY's will bolster the share price IMO, I really do believe this is essential. | spudders
27/2/2015 18:02 | In fact the share price performance would be easier to understand if they had sold 36m instead of buying them! Perhaps now that they have filled the order we will see it 'allowed' to move higher on Monday LOL | danny111
27/2/2015 17:55 | That makes the recent share price performance even more ridiculous imo. We have seen production lift by some 30%; an oil price recovery of 40%+ from the recent low; a very encouraging return from the horizontal method; and now we find out an investor has been able to add 36m shares to their holding, yet the share price continues to drift lower! Doesn't make any sense to me. | danny111
27/2/2015 17:52 | They must have been hoovering them up over more than last few days. 36 million they've bought... | oilretire
27/2/2015 17:51 | NAT obviously see some value at 3.fumty pence.....& actually put their hands in their pocket - and bought some.Just need another 100,000 punters to think the same.. | rockin robin
27/2/2015 17:49 | It will be interesting to see how much higher Natlata's holding goes and what will be their eventual exit plan. Do you think the management have any ideas Db VGLTA | seangwhite
27/2/2015 17:43 | At least those chunky trades can be explained. I don't think Ill be too hasty in off loading just yet. Good weekend all 😊 | spudders
27/2/2015 17:42 | It was probably those chunks of 4 - 7m trades a couple of days ago. | rockin robin
27/2/2015 17:38 | The March challenge is now on…. March 2015 Oil Stock Competitions: The race is on, the train has just started to leave the station??!! Who will be the winners and who will be the losers? Good luck. fb | flyingbull
27/2/2015 17:38 | So where did they get them from? Volume has been pitiful of late..... | oilretire
27/2/2015 17:36 | That's the conclusion I came too..... PetroNeft received notification on 22 January 2014 from Natlata Partners Limited that as of 22 January 2014 it holds an aggregate interest in 103,301,536 ordinary shares of 0.01 each which represents 16.02% | oilretire
27/2/2015 17:35 | Robin, I think from memory around the 16% mark. Regards, | nametrade
27/2/2015 17:33 | PetroNeft received notification on 27 February 2015 from Natlata Partners Limited that as of 27 February 2015 it holds an aggregate interest in 139,819,805 ordinary shares of EUR0.01 each which represents 19.77%* of the issued share capital of PetroNeft. What did they hold before - anyone? | rockin robin
27/2/2015 17:27 | Natlata seem to be on the move unlike the PTR SP VGLTA | seangwhite
27/2/2015 10:08 | Ironic really when Putin was complaining about the price of oil being manipulated for political purposes! | rcturner2
27/2/2015 10:03 | Re Afren: I'll admit PTR was near collapsing under a mountain of debt itself when I first invested here. But how it is not seen as a much better play now is a situation that surely won't continue indefinitely. Yes, it's stung many investors before but past performance is not an indication of the future ;) I see a tasty entry price at this stage, with very little risk bar national and international events occurring independently of the company. Edit: I read this morning Russia is threatening to cut Ukraine's gas supply off again unless they pay their bill for the next year within 3 days. | dubhgeannain |
