Brent near 63$ I can see pfc getting a lot more work. Big upside here. Turn off the noise and wait.

PFC's share price has held up well this week, despite Cape View Capital increasing their short to 0.77%. Good volumes too, mostly in favour of buys! I have to say though the adjournment of the sentencing of Lufkin... and complete lack of any explanation (as far as I can see) is mystifying! It'll all come out in the wash, I guess. I was hoping for a bigger dip today, to buy some more... but I missed it. let's see where we are next week! GLA 👍 (No, not you shorters!! 🙄😁)

If the SFO has a problem here or with Unaoil one would imagine that some journalist will get to it in the coming days. One wonders.

Hi Oakville, I am not saying that you cannot post my friend just that you currently add no value. Cheers and nice weekend.

I suspect many of us buying already know that is has been "taken too far". There is no possibility whatsoever that PFC will be put "out of business" due to any outcome of the SFO investigation. It simply will not happen. I would imagine that, once the SFO investigation is concluded, unless there is - or has already been - a rapid escalation in the share price then PFC would become a takeover target.

Most of the posts being made about the SFO investigation are speculation. The reality is, each day we are 1 day closer to the eventual resolution. Sentencing Lufkin is just part of the journey. Unless you believe the eventual outcome will be to put PFC out of business, the current price has to be a great buy. How many step reductions in the share price does it take before before investor's realise the drop has been taken too far?

From a strict practical point of view it would have been advantageousor the shareholders of PFC if the management would have settled early wit T a fine of 300 millions GBP. This amount they would have recovered easily over the time as they get then more contracts. I think many customers (prospective) are not at ease the SFO is monitoring closely the business of PFC. Also many countries forbid doing business with companies under criminal investigation.

1. Oakville you add no value to this thread with one liners 2. If Lufkin was to squeal I think it would have already happened in a plea bargain scenario

pec2004 Still enough to break the neck of Lufkin. We have to wait until all cards are on the table. The definitive outcome is not certain yet.

white123 I am not a polemist but the probability exists that Lufkin did not work alone in the bribery scheme. As we know, and maybe there are hidden facts behind the curtain, he has not made accusations against other persons or entities. The pathetic thing is that you focus ONLY on he side effects of the principal matter. These are the actuation of the SFO, the shorties, the hedge fonds ond other conspiration theories. You consider only the possible favourable outcomes for PFC and you omit the detrimental ones. In the real world it is very possible that Lufkin will confess and prove the allegations against PFC. In the US this is called plea bargain and it is common practice there. Also we do not know what evidence is in the hands of the SFO and the strategy behind. At least intentionally or unintentionally they are starving out PFC. And the trial to Lufkin is an intimidation to eventual accomplices.
