10/5/2018 12:55 | Hi Pogue, agree fully that share price recovery is closely correlated to rise in oil price coupled with recent contract wins and CEO large buy but to name a few of the causes.Fitch also take these into account in arriving at their assessment. The issue of a BBB ( investment grade) rating by Fitch despite the SFO investigation not yet being "officially" closed indicates that they have seen it of less of an issue than before and more likely now being "more contained" as a risk.....perhaps they view it that if SFO had something we would have seen it by now. So with each passing day where no action is taken I suspect we will see share price claw back some of that SFO share price hit is how I read the implications of Fitch report...... but i guess time will tell Another nice tick uo today - all of a sudden 650p looks very attainable....imagin | wolfhound1

10/5/2018 12:33 | Why will a shortage of oil mean O&G companies share prices implode? War in the Middle East will bring a shortage of oil or are you exrapolating a middle east war in something global in which case sell all your shares now and by BaE I think you are being a bit too negative. | pogue
10/5/2018 11:58 | the poo will be irrelevant if mayhem which is growing more likely by the day consumes the middle east. Share prices will implode. Add to that the donalds desire to start a trade war with the world, it may be better to be in cash rather than equities | notimpressed
10/5/2018 11:09 | wolfhound the recovery in the share price is mainly due to the oil price if you look at other oil sector shares they all have similar graphs I would not get too carried away in believing the rise here is all about company fundamentals. The POO off course looks a one way bet right now mind you as there are few people in the middle east thinking peaceful thoughts and Venezuela looks worse by the day with probable American oil sanctions to be applied after the election looking pretty certain. | pogue
09/5/2018 23:51 | Big news after close....Fitch has just awarded PFC a first time BBB credit rating with stable outlook...further underpinning the recovery in sp I suspect another few percent on the share price tomorrow on this news alone..... That puts us firmly into breakout territory with blue sky all the way to 800p GLA | wolfhound1
09/5/2018 20:39 | 600p seems to be the new 450p since the last time I traded these. I will be back to trade these for a quick 2% when it falls down to 600p or below, got my hands in other juicy shares at the moment. However, I'm so happy to see those who bought these in February for 410p gain a 50% cash profit on their investment! | chelsea81
08/5/2018 22:51 | Looking good for PFC share price tomorrow......GLA | wolfhound1
08/5/2018 12:43 | Taking Stock : * 600p has proven to be a strong support level * Blackrock have upped their stake above 5 % - that in itself probably confirms something is in the pipes...... * Oil price seems to be on a northward trajectory ....to name but a few positives perhaps this will be the week we break out beyond 650p+... 05/5/2018 09:42 | boul Like most interest as a recovery play , i just have a spreadbet, got wasted when it slid to 410 from 540, doing better now, i just therorise a tipping point for oil in the future still leaves pfc as a service provider [ decommisshioning etc ]still in demand, don't know the full spec of pfc just my snapshot, if 670 comes i'll take it from there | dubian99
05/5/2018 01:35 | ....back to business I am increasingly seeing more articles about rising oil price which argues well for PFC share price in the weeks and months ahead........ key date.. be the12th when we will hear what the Donald is going to do about Iran....the 3rd biggest global oil producer :) | wolfhound1
04/5/2018 22:45 | Well done, dubian; apols accepted. We'll look forward to some constructive comments from you in the future. Don't get too frustrated by the ups and downs; look at the general trend and the bigger picture. I know very little about trading (have never done it) but my feeling is that despite fresh attempts at shorting, the time for making a quick buck from frequent ins and outs may be over and it's in buy and hold where the money lies now. Just be patient. Things are really looking pretty good for investors. Are you in it for the long term or do you have an exit target? | bouleversee
