Piles in here with 25k worth all bought in cash. Great buying opportunity in a solid company. Happy days.

This one falls steeply and rises steeply. Have been topping up over the last few trading days. Personally can see this turning about soon.

Half year results likely to see significant net debt reduction (with already announced deals) and I am sure there are some large contracts coming with the higher oil price.

Personally I don't think the oil market gives a stuff about the SFO investigation, and you always have the opportunity of a relief rally when it finally has a line drawn under it.

Ouch!
Almost in freefall now.
Smashed through the weekly 10dma. Looks like a major rinse on the way.

I am betting the shorts are not in for the long term so will make their money if the oil price drops a few more $s. There are not that many greenfield projects out there just now and FEEDs will need done first so will be upto a year before they even bid on them plenty of time for shorts to get in and out. Long term things are good here I am betting short term is more of a gamble on the PoO.

With greenfield development back on I see the pipeline getting bigger. Expect more announcement in the coming months and a dithering SFO to postpone until 2019 their deliberations. POO need only be at $60 plus as PFC generally operates in low cost jurisdiction (north sea experience excluded). I can see it back up at £7 and fear that short sellers will face a rude awakening.

I got back in on Friday, but my entry point could have been better.
I'll keep adding on any dips, as I don't think the story's anywhere near over.
Also having another look at BP.

The share price here like most oil based shares got ahead of itself. People were expecting oil to go higher than $80 but now with Saudi saying they will open the taps to make up for the shortage when Iran gets fully hit by sanctions and to cover the losses in Venezuela it seems the party is over for just now. Froth will come off the price here and settle I am betting. I sold a few but keeping the majority.

prior to the investigation by the sfo, pfc share price was 800p ish
with a brent crude price between $50-60 barrel.
even with the spectre of a hefty fine the the drop seems
overdone, given the present POO,

peanuts compared to building new plant or refurbing old stuff which is what happens when the oil price rises. The recent rise has factored in $80 at least hence this and all other oil related comapnies are dropping. I have worked for all the main contractors in this industry so have a fair idea of how the sector works.

if you see 10.00 and above days again then buy the weakness. dividend and potential for takeover at these levels for me underpins the price. will watch and pick an entry point. shorters although a huge pain do create some great entry points into these types of companies.

lodgeview not whining again about fall in share price like he was in november / december ?

i filtered him after the constant whining last time around.

financial markets are a dangerous place for the weak.
