I see the shorts have increased again, to 8.33% with Old Mutual going to .5%...Annoying- Are they betting on a divi reduction?

Cinquepercento, I don't use buy orders, only sell orders. HL allows an email alert when the set buy in price is reached, so you don't have to always be staring at the screen. An email will be sent automatically when a target price is reached.

Cinquepercento, I use a HL account and conduct all my trading online. I normally set a sell order online after I buy in. This share price will fall further if no news is released imho, it will start rising again by middle of the month in anticipation of dividend. The way its going it seems my target buy-in price of 450p and below will be met this week. My last trade on this was at a 449p buy and 463p sell, before that it was 441p buy and 460p sell.

Are you using online account buy and sell orders/limits or do you phone them through?

I don't use a stop lose on PFC. Anything is possible here. Very volatile share at the moment because of the Shortes. I have put another £20K aside to buy more of these. Waiting and watching.
The Shortes may bring this down some more.They may start to exit as well.
The next couple of weeks will be very volatile I think.

Happy with my 20k at 460 average - but I'm feeling a bit dim with my IG account. Could have come out at the top with £150, but now minus £300plus at £30 per 1pence. Haven't been stopped out yet.....Anyhow learning more about money management on these short term trades, overall w/ PFC still in profit.

Must admit I expected to be above 500 after the contract win on Fri. The shorters have this and I am getting a little fed up with the constant red.

Is there going to be short a sqeez coming in a few weeks time??
If the Shorters are holding shares in PFC at the time then they would have to pay the DIVI.I hope the DIVI payment is good.All will be known on the 30th August.

Yes I will do very well here. Same as I have done in PAYS.In at 272 out at 590.
Also in KAZ. In at 523 target 900.
PFC in at 415 target 700. Not counting the DIVI . Patience required here.

I like your thinking on this share.

455 or even less is definitely a possibility within the chart trends.

I love the ups and downs of this share for trading purposes and long may it continue.

If we assume a low of about 455 or less and the next high of 484 or more,then we are looking at a potential profit of 6% or so,in a few weeks or even less.

Cinquepercento, I do expect this to reach that price by next week imho. My target buy-in price is 450p and below though, so I wouldn't be buying in at 455p. If the share price doesn't get to 450p prior to dividend announcement, I'm prepared to wait out till after dividend. No need to rush trading this, this share price will always have an up and down cycle for the foreseeable future, until the SFO investigation ends.
