P/E of 9x for 2015 implies a price of 830p. Might be tempted at that level.

Outlook pretty dire as well..

Outlook for 2015 being $500m, off the $580m for this year.
That's a 14% odd fall right there before you consider that this year will be at the lower ends of expectations(which are down from the $650m in 2013.)

Definitely some froth in the O&G Services sector post Kenz takeover. PFc, Wood, Amec. All having issues. empting to buy dips and tuck away some of these as "Oil" and its use in the global economy is not yet in terminal decline.

Just be careful, there has been no dead kitty bounce.
The order book is not the issue, it is their inability to manage projects that has resulted in the market running out of patience. I do feel that the CEO is now under threat.

I dont think that there was anything in the RNS that warranted a 23% drop.
I've bought in with a view to a reasonably early rise back over £10.

Seems a well timed drop considering the bid rumours last week...

Also, "Group backlog has increased substantially over the year to date to stand at US$21.2 billion at 30 September 2014 (31 December 2014: US$15.0 billion)"
.
Bet there will be a few hoovering up shares at this price!
Give it 2-3 days to settle and im in!

Feeling less pleased about last month's buy!
However , I still see a profitable company forecasting a significant profit next year . I doubled my holding at 907. Seems a reasonable chance of either a quick 10% or a slow 25%. (And a risk of further loss).

Well my recent scepticism has proven to be prescient!
Looking at a potential drop of 20% in profits next year means the share price is going nowhere for at least 6 months.
I keep looking at oilers and oil services stocks and think they look cheap but I have to keep reminding myself why they are cheap.
If the Saudis don't cut output at the next OPEC meeting things are not going to get any better for the foreseeable future.

Lucky miss here. Low oil price effect unlikely to disappear any time soon so could be difficult for a while here.
