a simple fact of aim trading now in action, due to the market size circa 10k and the volume, that any sells forces the price down in large steps which will only be reversed on good news , but then its hard to get back in at the low price as the market jumps up rapidly again due to mkt size , so I will now wait for wv next step to rescue the company as they have a "very large 160p investment"

I guess it wouldn't be out of the question for WV to 'arrange' a third party to take over the reigns if they stepped over the 30% holding?

Would that work/be possible? i.e. having it all agreed for some co to take 71% for paper or cash back off of WV if they triggered the mandatory take over?

I think wv will win this time around pci board have nearly hung themselves chance for a wv takeover and then enhanced shareholder value , lso wv can arrange the finance

The sums don't add up. The amount of spending is just unreal. Surely the other institutional investors must be alarmed by the carry on at pci and this latest attempt to use a bond issue to get more spending money.I'm afraid it's all imploding now......

How would benefit from Algerian gas if fracking get pushed through? UK has plenty, in France the law is against but who knows with problems in Russia escalating. Spain, Italy? They make it sound like a one off mega reserve but there are plenty more other discoveries from Algeria.Yes the "non revised" recoverable is a mystery and the fail take over.Just saying.

is it possible that boc wants to take it for himself on the cheap, im sure if he drags the price down lower he could afford it.funny how tom hicks is it mentioned 9tcf recoverable then all of a sudden he gets slapped down and now only talks of 2.1tcf recoverable.

If in the next month no other major investors demand for a board change after these appalling results, I will believe in conspiracy theories. Even with what they have in the desert doesn't guarantee economic success. Transformational year discovery = $183 write-off. They raised $100 in 2014 and they want and other $175 for 2015. Last year, none of the decisions made business sense but one can argue it make sense in term of oil exploration business. Yet it is the deluded attitude of the directors that is questionable. Seriously short of money now, they can’t event put the projects in Italy on track without desperately looking for farm out to “mitigate financial exposure”. I don’t think the board of directors should be trusted at all but then it is AIM. Anything goes in this market. Just saying!
