74tom - yes DDDD was the same, they had to shift 20m shares on really low voluvme, got a load at 40p and then it pinged. The best attribute that anyone investing on the markets can attain is patience, you can analyse charts, fundamentals, whatever but it means nothing if you don't have patience!

It certainly is tedious, at least we've had better volume in the last couple of days & this should continue in the lead up and aftermath of results. This reminds me of a slow motion version of a Woodford overhang play from a couple of years back, you don't know when it's going to go but you know the current price is stupidly cheap. I can remember buying e-therepeutics at 1.5p and selling it at about 2.7p thinking I was clever, it's trading at 29p today :(

Different tactic today, they've got their sells back on the L2 order book rather than selling to the market makers.

Interesting, no major block sellers today on decent volume. Reasonable buying and just needs a nudge past 1.79p and then to test recent highs imho.

Started buying in this morning, chart suggests that the sellers are getting weaker and the GEMD results were good so a carry over here. Market really not waking up to the valuation and change in position with very strong diamond prices. Might take a while but a rerate will happen imho.

A fairly basic article, which I suppose is intended to be 'well balanced'. The key question to ask is why PDL Enterprise Value is currently ~$300-400m less than before the restructuring? This is particularly relevant given the improving diamond market, and $50m net debt reduction in the last quarter. They also have a new CEO & vastly reduced CAPEX spend vs the period 2014-18, which is what caused the problems in the first place...
