This could be interesting, if only on the discount and share buybacks.

A. Have I Just Been Called by a Boiler Room?

The boiler rooms frequently change their names and hence it's important to not get bogged down with whether or not a particular boiler room "name" appears in the FAQ or not. Instead simply consider whether the characteristics of the person calling fit the characteristics of a boiler room broker. Here are some quick rules of thumb to see if the broker that's calling you is a boiler room...

* The firm calls you from out of the blue, you've never spoken to them before and you have no legal contract with them.

* They're not based in the UK, although they may try to create the impression that they're based in the UK by using a UK telephone number.

* They're not authorised by the FSA (they may even lie and tell you that they don't need to be).

* They're trying to sell shares in small unquoted companies that they claim will "IPO soon".

* They make extravagant claims that the shares that they're selling to you will double, triple or more in the near future.

* They use high-pressure sales techniques.

* They try to sell you shares of US companies that are only listed in the "Pink sheets" or the OTCBB ("Over The Counter Bulletin Board").

* The shares are regulation s/section 144 securities ("reg-s"), ie they have restricted rights so that you can't sell them for 12 months.

Jacknife,

You seem to be quite knowledgeable about boiler room, doggy companies. Do you have interest in setting up a warning thread, or give a hint to, so PI can study them before make any decision. Just put neutral and link for people to study, and avoid as appopriated, regardless price goes up or down, it would not be again the law is it?

Otherwise, an e-mail ring would be useful.

Thanks for the reponse, sounds like a few avenues to try, only thing im not sure about is what would be the complaint that make the above take an interest.

This share is another one that was pushed by Halewood, surly there must be something that can be done about them, I have now read on many BB about people who have been stung, including myself for a large amount of money.....

There always seem to be a connection between them a company called griffen and some guys called Dean and Nicholes, and the companies they push..

Bid down, offer is up??? I can't think why anyone would think of buying PSH now, as they would sit on 50% loss straight away!!!
